The cabin is well-appointed. Every detail thought out meticulously. Great views. Secluded, yet close enough to lake activities for convenient access. The host is responsive and created a getaway with guest need’s in mind. A return visit is definitely in order.

We loved the house and the neighborhood. It was the perfect place to enjoy peace and nature. The house was spotless, and we spent most of our time on the porch, listening to the birds and the rain.

Cozy, relaxing and lovely

We had a great stay! The home is well-appointed and comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning, watching the lake around the fire pit and sleeping in the quiet, comfy bedrooms. Thanks for a great experience!

New Year's Getaway

This was a last minute decision to get away for NYE. This was exactly what we was looking for and will definitely be back. Chris was great to work with and the cabin had everything we needed and then some.

Cozy cabin at Lake Anna

Spotless clean convenient labeled amenities. Quiet neighborhood overlooking lake. Excellent kitchen facilities. Wonderful place to find needed relaxation. Would not hesitate to return again. Host was excellent to communicate with concerning our arrival etc.

Great Weekend

We had a very nice stay here for a weekend at Lake Anna! The house itself was tucked back in the woods a bit and felt very private and quiet. It was nice and clean upon arrival and was fully stocked with just about anything and everything that you could possibly need. Everything was also labeled (drawers, etc.) which made finding things even easier. Communication with the host was always very fast and pleasant whenever we needed anything as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a little getaway!

Relaxing calm and fun

This was the perfect weekend stay for unwinding. Just two of us enjoying a beautifully decorated and clean cabin located on the lake. Sunrise on the deck, close to state park for a hike and Geocaching (lots to find there). Great place to kayak or fish. The people in the area were so nice. Cozy firepit and fireplace. Great food at the Cove and a grocery store nearby. The owner, Chris was inviting, kind and was very helpful. I fell in love with the area. I'm hard pressed to find anything remotely wrong about this rental. It was such a pleasure. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. I hope to return in the future.

Thankful

Our family spent a wonderful Thanksgiving at this cute cabin. It was specious enough for the 4 of us with room to spare. The cabin is clearly newly renovated and offered everything we needed for a quick getaway from the city. I can't say enough about Chris our host. He answered every question so quickly. My GPS took me to the wrong block and Chris stayed on the phone and guided me in. By far the best VRBO host we've had yet. If you're looking for some place to stay that makes you feel secluded but close to everything you need this is the cabin for you. -Lori

Lake view, all-you-need, tidy, cozy, updated cabin!

Had a great time exploring the lake and enjoying the cabin! Chris is a great host, we didn’t have any issues, but he was very friendly and on a spot with helpful reminders/communication. To our view, this is a Scandinavian feel, completely updated cabin, the style we adore and enjoy when we see it. It has everything you will need, kitchen is nicely set up with essentials. Outside is great too, a lot of privacy, fire pit, very nice deck with seating and grill; some neighbors but generously distant and very quiet, and, of course - a lake view! It has a long driveway to park the trailer/boat, and many boat ramps around. Location is great, places to eat ~10 min, gas stations and convenient stores with bait ~5 min. Very happy with this find, will come back again 👍👍👍

Weekend getaway

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and furnishings. Enjoyed our stay very much, relaxed on the porch swings and in the fire pit area. The furnishings were nice and comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook and not have to go out. The only recommendation I would have, respectfully so, would be in the hot summer months, let people know the upstairs is warmer than you would anticipate. The fan in the closet saved our sanity, as the heat index was over 100 degress outside during our stay. The access to the lake was a bit confusing for us to find, as it is a short drive out of the neighborhood and down the next street over, through a gate, where there is a boat slip, it is not walking distnace. Overall i give this property a 5 star, and highly reccomend. Chris was an exceptional host, always quick to respond and helpful with any questions.
