Get lost in the moment on Torch Lakes' gorgeous turquoise blue water which connects to the Torch River and chain of lakes. Walk or drive a short distance to access the infamous Torch Lake Sandbar. Only a 1/4 mile walk to public beach access and a short 1-mile drive to public boat ramp. Bring your boat, jet skis, ORV's or snowmobiles to relax with family/friends. Unwind on the covered porch or enjoy a bonfire. Plenty of parking and space!

Dining table seats 8. Smart TV w/Roku, gas fireplace.

Rapid City is surrounded by beautiful towns including Alden (less than 5 miles) which offers local grocery store as well as unique shops and restaurants. Bellaire is nearby and offers Shorts Brewery, restaurants and shopping. 30 minute drive to Traverse City where you can enjoy beaches, festivals, restaurants, casinos, wine tours/vineyards, breweries and shopping. Within 15 minutes you will find mountain bike trails, cherry orchards, golf courses, Lake Michigan beaches and the quaint town of Elk Rapids. ORV trails are a short distance away and lead to miles of off-roading. This all-season home is perfectly situated for your day adventures to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland, Suttons Bay, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, or Mackinaw City.

Perfect Home for a Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect, and the house itself was absolutely beautiful—spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed (and then some!). It was ideal for our family vacation with 12 people; there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The layout was great for entertaining, and the thoughtful touches like the provided snacks were so appreciated. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in/check-out couldn’t have been easier. We highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time at this property. So much space for our family of ten. Walking distance to the lake access and a quick trip to the boat launch. The hosts are communicative and prompt to answer questions or solve problems. This house is fully stocked with plenty of linens, towels, and kitchen utensils. Fret not...you will be in for a relaxing stay.

Comfort and Beauty

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home! The kids and adults alike enjoyed playing pool, shuffleboard and of course the "movie theater." We spent our days out on the beautiful lakes that are so close! Would highly recommend!

Torch Lake Family Vacation

Our family of 5 stayed here with my brother’s family and our parents for a week long vacation. Communication with the owner was excellent. She checked in with us before we arrived and throughout the week to make sure we were comfortable. The house is in a great location and is beautiful and very clean. We rented a boat from Torch Boat down the road and had a blast tubing on the lake. We took a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City. We also recommend checking out Short’s Brewery in Bellair. We spent a lot of time playing pool, shuffle board and pac man. All of the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. 10/10 stay. We hope to be back someday.

Perfect Torch Lake Getaway

My family stayed here for a week. We were two adult couples, a toddler, and then our in-laws. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was nice that not only was each bedroom a king with equally nice accommodations. There were also enough bathrooms for everyone to have their own space. The house looked even better than it photographed and it was exceptionally clean. We had so much fun in the garage game room and the toddler love playing with the sand in the backyard. They were all sorts of nice little touches that the host had put together that made it so we had everything we needed at the cabin, and the host was a great communicator and made sure that we were doing well all week. The house is close enough that it would be a short walk to great torch Lake beach access or about a two minute drive we couldn’t have asked for a better location and were thrilled with this property!

The Perfect Family Vacation

This beautiful home had everything and was so spotless it looked brand new! Plenty of room to spread out and lots of things to keep everyone busy. We made popcorn and enjoyed movies projected on the big wall. The grandkids also enjoyed playing Pac-Man. We didn't even have a chance to play table shuffleboard or shoot a game of pool. We had also hoped to use the kayaks but ran out of time. Such a peaceful neighborhood that makes you feel like you are out in the woods. But still only minutes away from local restaurants and stores. One of our favorite things was sitting on the front porch in the mornings to watch the wildlife around the bird feeder! We had never seen black squirrels before. The kids also enjoyed the sand in the backyard and making s'mores around the firepit at night. Such an amazing place to come back to after being on Torch Lake all day. Our family loved the week we spent here and didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful family vacation in this home with our 12, 13, 17, 18, and 19 year olds. There are many places to congregate to eat, talk and play games. The porch is lovely. The sandy backyard was fun for playing bags and having a fire in the fire pit. The game room was a family favorite with pool, shuffle board, connect 4, pac man and movie projector. Our 19 year old enjoyed having his own bedroom and bathroom there. The hosts were very responsive. The home has many lovely touches. The bedding is very nice, and the blankets are amazing. We walked to Torch Lake and spent the afternoon on the sandbar. We also rented a pontoon boat one day from Torch River Shack and jet skis from Sunny Daze. Traverse City is close, and we did a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We would love to return!
