We’ve stayed at cabin 5 before and it went well. So well, we decided to stay again on our way thru the area. The staff was very friendly. But cabin 3 had bed bugs, which is a nightmare. We had to relocate immediately, shower, and run all our clothes thru a hot laundry setting. I can’t blame anyone, it just was what it was. I also don’t think we’ll stay here again because a very active train is right behind the cabins. And the rooms are difficult to get the temp moderated. So sorry to have to leave a poor review, but I do want to warn other families as needed.

Yes and no

Quiet little cabin but very falsely advertised. Pull out couch was disgusting. Ac unit in living room doesn’t work. Toilet leaking upon arrival and still leaking once we left. Floor black from how long it’s leaked.

Unlikely to stay here again

The property had easy access and did have accommodations for 8. The toilet wouldn’t flush good. Mgmt was notified but did not come and fix. The a/c in the bedroom froze up and had to be cut off for a while. There was no oven, just a 2 burner stove. The microwave wouldn’t work.

Cabin on river Warm Fork

The cabin as severe issues. The rear wall of the bedroom is about to collapse. The siding is rotted out on the side of the deck on the entance side. The toilet doesnt flush properly. The mattress on the beds are way to soft and the fold out slepper sofa sinks down in the middle if you sit on it. Their is one fluroscent bulb out in the kitchen and there was no coffee pot. I was very displeased with the cabin and i would definitely not recommend to anyine, frien or foe to stay here

Absolute misery

Upon arrival I'm greeted with mouse poop everywhere and the mouse jumped out of the silverware drawer at me. Dishes are covered in poop. Heater doesn't work so the cabin was freezing cold. Owner loaned a small heater to keep one room warm. The train is literally less than 1/4 mile away and runs every hour blasting it's horn. Sounded like it was running through the cabin all night long.

Good but not good

Our first day we got there mind you were worth celebrating our 22nd years of being together and our first trip vacation ever. we get there and they gave us a rundown old cabin and that was not the one I ordered. I have a lot of health issues and this just wasn’t for me so they put us another cabin. It was great and we enjoyed it, but it does need updated my fiancé he got stung twice by wasp, there was a wasp nest. We had backed up plumbing, but we still stayed there. The only reason we stayed there is because the owners and their family and friends were awesome. Couldn’t ask for nicer people and they did their best overall that’s what made it easier.

First of all This is my first review to leave ever and I’m 52 and not picky! BUT this was awful! We use VRBO often and I expect WAY BETTER !! The host didn’t respond! We did not get check in instructions till after 5 day of check in AFTER live chat withVRBO. This place was rustic which was fine but it was so Nasty!! I have pictures!! THERE IS NO EXCUSE ! And place was needing repairs!! I expect a response out of respect. Please know VRBO isn’t at vault but does have an obligation to Stand behind rentals they advertise!

Loved the unique cabin & plenty of room for the kids to run around, plus the delicious & cost effective Riverview Restaurant in walking distance! This cabin just needs to be treated for tree ants, or perhaps the wood sealed better. The main door also needs to be better sealed at the bottom to keep little bugs out. We didn’t have a big issue with bugs, just a few.
