There was only 2 of us so did not take advantage of the upstairs at all. The rest of the house was awesome! Bed was super comfortable, and we enjoyed a fire in the firepit. visited some of the bridges during the day and sat on the back deck and watched the farmers harvest! so Peaceful. Thanks for the hospitality!!

Amazing Christmas get away

This property was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room to sleep our family of 11. Wonderful open concept kitchen, dining, and living room which allowed meals and activities to flow smoothly!!! Would definitely stay there again!

Spacious country house, minutes from Winterset

Our group stayed here while we had a quilting retreat in town. It was a short drive and house had plenty of room. Host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Wonderful country home

This was a wonderful place to stay. Extremely clean. Very open floor plan. Very comfortable for the group of 8 we had. Highly recommended for groups of 9 or less.

Beautiful home

This property was STUNNING and located in a secluded rural area just outside of Winterset. It was within walking distance to one of the covered bridges, and just a quick drive into town. We have zero complaints and would absolutely stay in this property again!

Loved our short stay in the country

This is a beautifully remodeled farm home in the country. It's quiet and peaceful.The large kitchen was a nice place to gather. It will accommodate a large group easily. Thanks so much!

Spacious Property

We were in town for a wedding just down the road at Iris Aisle. There were six of us and we all had plenty of room, with plenty of more space. We absolutely loved the huge kitchen area. The updated features were great, but we also loved how the upstairs had the original wood features.

Farm House Stay

Very nice house. Liked being in the country, but not very far from the things we wanted to do and see. It was nice watching the deer on the property. The host was very responsive when we contacted her. Would definitely recommend that property. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room.

Exceeded Expectations

We stayed at this place for two nights with some extended family. The house its self is beautifully updated and exceeded expectations. The location has beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. We had plenty of room in the house and several football games were played in the yard. We would highly recommend this property!

Fully renovated farmhouse in beautiful Madison County

Tastefully remodeled with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Beautiful setting next to wooded areas and corn fields with plenty of wildlife to observe. Private and remote but close to nearby Winterset and only a 45 minute drive to Des Moines. Huge kitchen and dining area, great layout for a large group. We will be back!

Amazing

This house was gorgeous. There was more than enough room for all ten of us! The property manger was so kind and helpful. She let us check in early has we got stuck in the rain at the fairgrounds. We will continue to book this house every time we stay in Winterset.

We were in the area for a wedding. The house is an immaculately updated original home with solid wooden doors and glass doorknobs. If you like antique homes, this one's for you. If you like modern design, this one's also for you. The green tub upstairs

Excellent girls weekend retreat!

Stayed 2 nights with a group of 8 ladies for a weekend retreat. Enough space for all of us, lots of room for sitting around sipping coffee and wine, playing games, doing crafts. Close to the town square for an afternoon of exploring little shops, and near the bridges of Madison county for sight seeing. House was immaculately clean, and decorated in a modern yet cozy and airy way. Bedrooms upstairs were great, love the way the original features of the home (like the glass doorknobs, green bathtub and built in dresser) were preserved through the home updates. Kitchen was spacious, updated, had one of everything we needed, loved the wine bar/fridge and seating options around the house. Communication with host was easy and always got prompt replies. Would recommend and would stay here again!
