Lovely raised coastal cottage style home in a precious quiet neighborhood was a great spot to stay on our overnight Charleston visit. This property offers convenient access to Shem Creek dining (We enjoyed Vickery’s.) and Patriots’ Park venues. We ate breakfast pastries and enjoyed coffee from the local Pitt St bakery shop. It is also an easy drive to both Charleston, IOP, and Sullivans Island. As mentioned, parking is tight but doable. We drive a large SUV. We recommend this home as a wonderful family spot close to but not in the action that is Charleston.

Perfect shem creek rental
Wonderful stay! Very clean, and perfect location to go out at night to Shem creek. One small bedroom upstairs and third bed is only located through outside entrance. Overall great stay and easy communication.

Great visit!
I was visiting with my two adult daughters. It was their visit to Charleston. The house was clean and nicely appointed. Great location, central to lots of dining and activities. The beds were super comfortable. We appreciated being in a quiet neighborhood. Easy check in and out. Grateful that we could have our dog with us. Our Subaru Crosstrek fit in the parking spot, but just barely. Very challenging to get in and out of that parking area.

Mt Pleasant Old Village
Overall the townhome is clean, lovely and nicely appointed in a quiet area within walking distance to several coffee spots, cafes and restaurants.
Read the details on the listing as the 3rd bedroom is on the ground floor with a separate entrance and not connected to the rest of the living space and only has a 1/2 bath. Also to note the 2nd bedroom upstairs has a queen bed, but you can't open the door all the way into the room without hitting the bed with the door. The mattress in this room was quite "lumpy" -- causing sleepers to roll toward the middle.
