The property had everything that we needed as a family to enjoy our stay and was just close enough to Madison to enjoy the football weekend and then retreat to the house for some quiet, family time. Would definitely reserve again and try to take advantage of all of the other amenities (i.e. sand volleyball) that we did not have a chance to take advantage of. Plus, Maggie, our host, was very responsive to our questions and easy to deal with.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property is large and has many wonderful features for hosting many other guests. Host was very prompt with communication responses, which we greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay, and we especially appreciated the outdoor playground, trampoline, grill area, and night-time fire pit. Our grandkids loved the extra toys & games, too! It was also nice to have access to a washer & dryer and plenty of extra towels on hand for our crew! Beautiful property and very spacious home! Thank you! We hope to be back next year!

Luxurious and spacious house on a large and beautiful piece of land. Was equipped with everything we could want. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again.

Great for family reunions

We had a great time staying at this property. There was plenty of space and the house had everything that you needed to feel at home and enjoy the time there. Mt. Horeb is a great little town and we enjoyed doing some sightseeing.

Large Home Beautiful Area

This place was amazing! Perfect spot for larger groups as there are plenty of beds and lots of games and activities to do both inside and outside. The host was great at responding to any questions we had and was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Girl Weekend

This was an excellent location for our girls weekend trip. The house allowed us to have plenty of space for sleeping, enough bathrooms and the huge kitchen table was perfect for our card games. We did not have time to enjoy the lower level for games and movie watching. Host was very responsive. Would love to stay there again.

Amazing House + Stay

Our large group had a fantastic stay at this VRBO. The communication with the host was top-notch and there are plenty of things to do on the property itself. The pictures do not do justice as the house is MUCH bigger than we anticipated. If you have a large group of people, I would definitely recommended this house - our group will return.

Amazing property

This house is great and most of all clean! As a large family we have stayed in a lot of rentals and cant tell you how many never matched the pictures and are scary gross. This house is so nice, large and the property is gorgeous. We vacation in WI every summer and this house will be the house we always stay at now. The privacy and view are amazing yet you are still close to Madison and area to go out to eat/explore/get delivery etc. My kids had the time of their lives playing outside on the trampoline, playground and sand volleyball court. The host was also immediately responsive every time to my questions prior to arrival (we had no issues while there).

Fabulous property!

Stayed here for UW-Madison graduation weekend. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the fabulous amenities: game room, firepit, grill, trampoline, gym, volleyball court! The property is spectacular and very private! Beds were comfortable. Could have used more coffee mugs for the Keurig machine. This was a great experience and highly recimmend.

We were part of the Cindy Geier family staying here for Thanksgiving this year. The house is beautiful, but could use a few improvements. For a house that accommodates 16 (and charges close to 1500/night) we were surprised at the sparse number of plates, cups, glasses and coffee mugs. There were 10 of us and 8 of us drink coffee. There were only 6 mugs found, no wine glasses. The bedrooms were sparsely decorated. I did not expect to stay in a professionally designed space, but when I am staying in the 2nd of 2 rooms with a king bed, I did expect something more than just a bed in the room. There were no bedside tables, no lamps, nothing on the floor in the second king bedroom but the bed. I appreciated the hangers in the closet, but prefer to have some sort of horizontal space for putting some of my items (purse, jewelry, phone to charge, book, etc.) We were also told there was a hairdryer in the house, but never found one. Fortunately a member of our group brought theirs so we shared. Towels, although available, were not stored in the hall closet or bathroom. We found them after looking in the laundry room. I have stayed in other VRBO's and am curious as to how the reviews are decided/posted. After reading them, it appears they are being extremely screened and only the best ones posted. OR the 'well equipped' nature of the house has changed. Again, beautiful house in a lovely setting, could just use a few improvements on the items available in the rooms.
