Fred, We are extremely disappointed we didn't meet your expectations. We take pride in our cabin and work hard to achieve our excellent ratings. You contacted us at 3:10 about the issues you had with the door code. The blinking red light indicated there was an error with the code. We were not sure what was causing this error. At 3:17 we talked on the phone again and we provide a new code for you and stayed on the line to assure you got in. Which you did. You acknowledged that we did not have a microwave. We never indicated that we did. So I don't understand why you made a point of bringing this to our attention. It was clearly your oversite and a point of agitation. When we heard the temperatures were going to be sub-zero we contacted you and recommended using the baseboard heaters. The cabin has been there for over twenty years and these heaters always provide sufficient warmth. You notified us that you were out of wood for the stove and that the wood pile was covered in snow. You did not bring to our attention you needed an accommodation and I replied that there was a snow shovel on the front porch you could use to retrieve more wood. You also left several pieces of wood in the bin. We are sorry there was no paper left for starting a fire, normally there is but with paper towels and the fire starters we provide this shouldn't have been an issue. We purchased our couch new last year and we're sorry it didn't meet your approval. The lounge chair may be seasoned but is comfortable. Overall it doesn't seem that there was anything positive about your stay with us and for that we can't apologize enough. We hope your next VRBO experience is what you are looking for.
