Wonderful stay! Sean and Karen are incredibly welcoming, kind, and have a beautiful home and property. My husband and I stayed for 3 months while he was working on the island, and the apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed. The view is gorgeous, but the hosts truly made this stay special. We stay in many short-term rentals every year, and this one has been by far our favorite. There’s a washer/dryer, a nice little storage room for extra things to be put away, a beautiful and well-equipped kitchen, excellent WiFi, and a very large and comfortable living space. It’s a studio set-up, but much bigger than many studios, and was plenty of space for a couple for a prolonged stay. It also is a gorgeous an easy drive into Oak Harbor, as well as easy access to the rest of the island. The view is incredible, with views of the passage and Mt. Baker visible, and it’s in a quiet, serene neighborhood. We loved taking walks here and enjoyed all the wildlife — deer right outside the window, great horned owls calling at night, rabbits everywhere, and beautiful hawks and sea birds. I cannot recommend this more, and can’t wait to return someday. Thank you, both Sean and Karen, for sharing your home to travelers and making it such a wonderful experience.
