Welcome to Cliffside Cottage!!! We have Spectacular Sunsets and Amazing Views! Relax on the deck with a little umbrella drink or enjoy the elevated hot tub. Feel the stress fade away as you let the beauty take you away. Incredible water and mountain views. We enjoy lovely wildlife such as Soaring Eagles, Gray Whales and more! PLEASE NOTE: If you are having an event such as a Wedding, Birthday, or Family gathering please send me an inquiry through the option "ask the owner a question" first.

The house is cute, nice fenced yard for our pup, Fynn to chase balls. Beautiful view of Olympic mountains. This is a great location to explore Whidbey Island.

This a great little place in the perfect location for exploring the island. It was clean quiet and comfortable. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not at temp when we arrived and there seemed to be something wrong with the heating pump or something. Anyway, the owner was very responsive and was sending a repair person to address it.

Wonderful house and view. The photos don’t do it justice. Loved that the cabinets were labeled throughout the house, made finding things a whole lot easier. The kitchen is beautiful.Fenced in yard was secure for the dog, no worries there.

This is the perfect house for a weekend getaway. Close to hiking, shopping and great restaurants. Super clean, comfortable beds, great backyard for dogs and a well-stocked kitchen.

This was such a relaxing and romantic stay! Everything was truly wonderful and the view is absolutely incredible. The bed was so comfy, the hot tub was relaxing — and the kitchen was spacious. It was very quiet and peaceful. Super clean and tidy when we checked in.We came here for our anniversary trip, and the host even left us a bottle of wine — extremely kind! The house is beautiful and well furnished. It’s in a safe and convenient neighborhood with 10 minute access to a state park with hiking trails and beac and great restaurants within 15 minutes as well as a Safeway. The kitchen is sparsely provided. Plenty of for coffee drinkers but nothing for tea drinkers and the oil was stale. Good lighting throughout the house and it was wonderful to be able to go into a spa. I didn’t mind that it had some sand in it when I arrived. In most cases, the owners responded promptly and accurately when I reached out.

This was the perfect base for our family to explore Whidbey. The house was a great setup for our dog, with fenced yards in front and back. Dave made sure we had everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable and well-supplied. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful property

The bedrooms were both bigger than they looked online. The entire house was very well kept it was nice having all the board games and all the various kitchen implements. The view was absolutely breathtaking.

Amazing view!!

The place is exactly as described on VRBO. Super happy that the backyard and front yard were fenced for the !Since I was coming just for 3 nights, I really appreciated that the fridge had basic condiments and that coffee pods were given. No need to rush to the grocery store as soon as you arrive for your morning coffee.

Best vacation rental we have stayed in

This is the third time we have stayed here, this time for the month of June. We have never had an issue with anything but I am convinced if we did Dave would take care of it immediately. Hope to stay again next year.

A gorgeous view!

The view from this cliffside house is stunning!Our dogs (and we) especially appreciated the fully fenced yard so they could run and play safely, and the outdoor fire pit and ample firewood was an unexpected bonus.Dave is a great host and is very responsive and communicative. We would certainly return.

Great View, but Other Things Fall Short

We picked this property because of the ocean view, which was indeed stunning sitting on the edge of a bluff, and also because of the many top-rated reviews.Fully fenced-in backyard was clean, well-kept, great for my pets. Most appreciative of host not loading us with any to-do list upon checking out. Bedroom was clean, very comfortable bed and pillows!Some items that made me question this property having largely top reviews only:Kitchen floor was very dirty; we spilled a drink by accident, and when I wiped up the floor, paper towels came up brown.Rear windows and patio glass door were very dirty. Not just from dirt, dust, but also with many smears and smudges on glass that seemed to have been on there for a while.Some tabletops also were dusty. Lamp in living room was missing a light bulb altogether; side table lamp in master bedroom did not work.Dishwasher never worked, but maybe not so important because host did not expect us to do anything.It just seemed as the overall cleanliness of the property and a required prep check for functionality of all property items were overlooked in some critical areas. Please consider addressing these issues; it would make your property a true gem.

We are very lucky to be able to enjoy this wonderful high bank water front home. From using the hot tub while enjoying the wonderful views to the relaxing home and spaces this is a fantastic get away.
The scenery is incredible with the beautiful Puget Sound Water View and the Olympic Mountains right out our back door. We have several sets of Eagles that live close by and its very neat to be standing at the fence looking down as they fly along the bluff 236 feet above the water. From time to time we see Gray Whales playing below in the water. Its pretty spectacular!
