Worse experience ever

I booked a stay here for right after Christmas for a party of 9 and never hear from the host . The Day came where i needed to receive the check in insurrection and the host sent nothing . I reached out asking for the information and still no response after several messages . I also message Vrbo who wasn’t much help with the online chat . The night before i called Vrbo who stated they finally were able to contact the host who ga double booked the property . So now less than 24 hours before my trip in scrambling to find somewhere to stay . Beyond upset that the host didn’t let me know or cancel the booking if she was double booked . I wound stay here and avoid the headache i had to go through. Awful host .

Unclean and not a accurate description of rooms

When we arrived we quickly noticed the house was not clean nor did we have the acceptable stuff that was listed in the description of the house. We were welcomed by dirty dishes in the dishwasher and dirty dishes in cabinets that had been put away. Dust on ceiling fans about 2 inches thick, rat dropping in the cabinets and on bowls etc. we had to wash everything we used because we felt it was not clean. Had to go by dish soap etc because it wasn’t any there. Listing states two king beds there is only one king in the entire house the rest are queens or doubles.. the microwave didn’t work and when I mentioned it to the owner we were informed there was a stove and a grill to use. Refrigerator had to be cleaned before we could put groceries away and the bedding on several beds were not clean and smelled terrible. Also clothing and other belongings left in bedrooms and bathrooms from previous renters and the cleaning crew just left it for us to take care of I assume. We also had to write and ask for check in instructions and was told she would send around 3pm if was after 3 and we didn’t have then so I had to message again. We also never got checkout instructions. I did message the owner about all that f the above and she offered to have cleaners come back but we were already there and settling in when that was offered and we did not feel comfortable having someone come in after we arrived with our stuff inside. She quickly quit responding to us and never heard from her again.
