We only stayed 2 nights for our grandson’s Marine boot camp graduation. The loved home it was as pictured in the listing. They only provided one towel per person and one washcloth per bathroom. The kitchen had one towel and no potholders which we could have used. Home was very convenient to the base and if ever need to stay again I definitely would stay here again and have referred this rental to others.

The home is beautifully decorated. Feels like you're in a shabby chic photo shoot. It is extremely conveniently located to Parris Island. We were there for my son's graduation and 6 of us stayed there. So nice to have the open space in living and dining area for extended family to hang out together. We cooked a lot to take to the base and found some essential items lacking. Including that so others can consider if they need to bring their own. Attending graduation activities had us up at 4am & 5am, little time to shop. There were only 8 bath towels for a 3 night, room for 8 people stay. That left none for hair towels. Only 2 wash cloths for all of us. No tissues, only toilet paper and paper towels. Kitchen- no sets of potholders, no very large cooking pot. Included odd items like pastry rollers and pie pan, but no mixing bowls and no dry measuring cups. Nothing to clean the grill but wet wipes. No dishwasher pods, but I did communicate the pods and they were supposed to be there. That was resolved kindly and professionally though the timing of the communication was slower than I am used to. I would definitely recommend staying here, just be prepared and also plan time for the check out list. We walked to the Sands, Cypress Wetlands and shops nearby.

It was so convenient to everything, including Parris Island the food at the local restaurants was amazing. Very Clean and decorated so cute beds very comfortable, love the moss on the trees The whole area was very nice. Our Host was very helpful.

The home was not only immaculate but also decorated with a high end farmhouse style. From the second I walked in I felt like I was transported into the featured home of an architectural magazine. The owner was clear in communication and was thoughtful in everything that was included for the visit. The surrounding neighborhood was beautiful and walkable through extra hot in July. Overall this place is a perfect haven and was a gift to experience. I would give a hundred stars if I could.

Mother’s Day Meet Up

The Happy Place is aptly named…the house is exactly as pictured and the location was great! Quiet neighborhood and very walkable to the Main Street of Port Royal! Slight hitch when trying to get in the house, but through no fault of the owner. There had been major storms which caused the power to go out and rendered the key pad useless…but they were very apologetic and came up with a work around so it was fine! We truly enjoyed our stay and the house really is just so cute and welcoming and the perfect size for our group of 5!!Would definitely book again!

Perfection in Port Royal

This is truly a beautiful home. It is so beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and was absolutely perfect for this weekend. It has now become our very favorite house in Port Royal!! The home is very well stocked with everything you need including beach chairs if you forgot yours like I did! The layout of the house is great as well as the cute yard. My two tween daughters and I were visiting Port Royal for the one year anniversary of the death of my husband, their father. We have many precious memories together at The Sands. Unfortunately, The Sands Beach was closed for construction of a park/restroom addition so we weren't able to enjoy shark tooth hunting this trip but we still enjoyed the Observation tower and walking pier and enjoyed the dolphins playing in front of us!! We still enjoyed the beach at nearby Hunting Island for our day at the beach and got t-shirts from Barefoot Bubba's. Dockside restaurant was wonderful and worth the wait as always. We will be back!!

Our "happy place"

We had a wonderful time. The house was in a perfect location for us and tastefully decorated. It was within walking distance to the cypress wetlands, the sands beach and boardwalk. Must go to Maynards for donuts and ice cream!

Wedding Stay

We brought the whole family for a nearby wedding. The house was perfect. Very comfortable and homey. The pictures don’t actually do it justice. Much larger than it appeared in the photos. Very clean and well equipped. Short walk to a number of areas downtown, beach and restaurants. We would definitely come back if our travels take us to the area.

Parris Island Family Day and Graduation

House was perfect location for easy access to P.I. Spent most of our time on base - wish we had more time at this great house! Walked to dinner at Fish Camp on 11th - beautiful sunset, great food! Loved our time here!

Perfect stay

The house did not disappoint. Looks just like the pictures. We stayed for sons graduation from Parris Island which is just a short drive from the house. So it turned out to be a perfect location for us in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!
