Finish your evening on the covered back deck and sitting by the firepit under the stars. Spend your days playing golf, pickleball, hiking, exploring the waterfalls and National Parks or strolling through Cashiers and Highlands. With 3 king en-suite bedrooms this home is perfect as a retreat for up to 3 couples. Memory-filled moments await! 4 restaurants are in walking distance. Only 1 hour drive to the Asheville airport.

INSIDE: 2000 sq ft, vaulted ceilings, open floor plan, wood floors, smart TV w/ Roku (bring your own streaming passwords), seasonal indoor gas fireplace (Oct 15-May 1), dining table for 6, gourmet kitchen, 4 desks with power strips & high-speed internet, 3 king en-suite bedrooms, canopy bed, free-standing bathtub, rain showers in all bathrooms, glass showers, high-end mattresses & linens, designer furniture, board games & books.

KITCHEN: Gourmet kitchen, stainless appliances, granite counters, dishwasher, stove/oven, fridge/freezer, 12-cup drip coffee maker, Nespresso, Keurig, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, ice maker, waffle maker, Le Creuset, dishware/flatware for 12, serving dishes, all cooking essentials, full spice rack.

OUTSIDE: Covered decks (front & back), outdoor seating, firepit, garden, creek

GENERAL: Whole-house generator (in case of power outages), city water, free high-speed internet (500 Mbps), central A/C and heating, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, towels/linens, hairdryers, hangers, starter pack of laundry detergent/dish detergent/toiletries/trash bags/paper towels/toilet paper. Garbage Pickup Tuesdays & Fridays.

PARKING: Driveway-parking of up to 3 cars is allowed. However, RVs, trailers, boats, campers, additional vehicles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, parking in the street or the use of the garage are prohibited.

ACCESS: Gently sloped roads, all paved and a cul-de-sac turn-around make this home easily accessible year-round. Inside the gated community of the Country Club of Sapphire Valley. Keyless entry and 1 exterior security camera (facing outwards/ front porch, recording video and sound when activated by motion). Stairs required to enter. Backyard has a creek with steep banks. Children & infants are not permitted (only adults 18+ years). Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 9 AM.

RESORT AMENITIES: “Sapphire Valley Resort” amenity cards can be purchased on-site at the Sapphire Valley Community Center for $5/day or $25/week per guest. Sapphire Valley Resort is open most of the year (please check). The community gym, pools (1 indoor, 2 outdoor), hot tubs, sauna, running track, basketball and use of the community center do not have any additional fees. All other amenities require varying additional fees and include tennis, pickleball, driving range, golf courses, kayaks, paddleboards, boating, fishing, ziplining, skiing/tubing (Note: The “Country Club of Sapphire Valley” is different from the "Sapphire Valley Resort". "Country Club of Sapphire Valley" is a private club, and its amenities are not accessible to non-members).

THINGS NEAR-BY: 4 Sapphire Valley Resort restaurants (2-3 min drive / 10-15 min walk), Ingles Supermarket (6 min drive), Cashiers downtown, shops & restaurants (8 min drive), Whiteside Brewing Company (8 min drive), Highlands downtown (25 min drive), Bascom Center for the Arts (25 min drive), Highlands Performing Arts Center (25 min drive), Brevard downtown (40 min drive).

OUTDOOR FUN & GOLF: Ski Sapphire Valley (10 min walk), Red Bird Golf Links (10 min walk), Twin Falls Trail (7 miles), Panthertown Valley Trail (8 miles), Silver Run Falls (8 miles), Whiteside Mountain Trail (9 miles), Gorges State Park (10 miles), Lake Toxaway (10 miles), Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Trailhead (10 miles), Pisgah National Forest (14 miles) plus many more hikes, trails, waterfalls and parks.

AIRPORTS: Asheville Regional Airport (44 miles/1 hour drive), Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (76 miles).

HOUSE RULES (You booking will mean that you agree to comply to these house rules):
1. Minimum rental period is 4-6 nights (depending on dates), maximum rental period is 14 nights.
2. Maximum occupancy is 6 OVERNIGHT guests and 6 DAYTIME guests. Only adults (18+ years) are permitted. No children or infants. Events & parties are strictly prohibited.
3. Minimum age to rent is 30. Photo ID might be required upon booking.
4. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 9 AM.
5. Pets are not allowed. Any evidence of pets will result in a $1,000 additional fee, house rules will be considered broken, and the guest will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. The homeowner has severe allergies that require professionally cleaning of all A/C ducts, replacing air filters, shampooing rugs and deep cleaning the entire home after an animal was in the home. Please consider another property if you plan to vacation with an animal.
6. Service animals. If you have questions/requests regarding ADA-certified service animals, you must contact us PRIOR to booking or the booking will be considered in violation of house rules. Any service animal showing up unapproved or left in the house or anywhere on the property unattended/unaccompanied, will automatically be in violation of house rules and you will be asked to vacate the property immediately without a refund.
7. Children or infants are not allowed. Only adults (18+ years) are permitted.
8. Smoking of any kind is prohibited on the property. This includes tobacco, marijuana and vaping. Any evidence of smoking will incur a $1,000 additional fee and house rules will be considered broken.
9. Candles inside the house or on the porches are not allowed (fire-risk).
10. The use of a BBQ grill or outdoor cooking on the property is not allowed (it attracts bears).
11. Parking: 3 cars maximum and only on driveways. Parking in the garage or on the street is not allowed. Trailers, boats, campers, RVs, motorcycles, ATVs and vehicles with commercial signage are prohibited.
12. The use of the garage is not allowed.
13. Temporary internet outage (these are the mountains) is beyond our control and not a reason for a refund. Temporary power outage generally does not present an issue, since the house has a full-house generator.
14. Purchase of $59 damage insurance ($1500 coverage) at time of booking is required. Cancelling the insurance coverage after booking will cancel the booking.
15. Property may only be used as a short-term vacation rental. Guests are not permitted to use the property as a primary residence, or add, remove or move furniture, or make any changes to the property.
16. Check-out time is 10 am (due to same-day guest turn-over).
17. Any violation of these house rules will cause this agreement to be canceled without a refund and the guest will need to vacate the premise immediately.

This is our second stay in this beautiful home and hopefully not our last. Beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, and so bright and clean make this home one of our favorite VRBO rentals. The location is excellent with many amenities and shopping close by. The hostess is very responsive and delightful.

Beautiful home and yard. Walking distance to The Library Restaurant and a 10 mi jaunt to the pool, workout area and other amenities. Mica’s Restaurant is close and Cashiers is a 10 minute drive. Everything is close including waterfalls. We will return! Thank you.

Perfect House and location. Everything was great. It is even prettier in real life than the pictures. The beds and pillows were comfortable, as were the sofas and outdoor sitting areas. Big kitchen with everything you need. Very responsive property manager. We had a great stay and would definitely book the same house if we go back to the area.

Great Location with Plenty to Do!

We had a great stay—this spot is perfect for couples and friends. The location offers a short easy drive to the lake with good amenities, and the surrounding area has tons of outdoor activities, great restaurants, breweries, and shopping.The onsite restaurants were surprisingly good, and we really enjoyed the live music at the tavern one evening—it made for a fun night out without leaving the property.The only downside was the golf course. It’s just a 9-hole course and felt a bit too easy, with the condition being just okay. If you’re a serious golfer, you might be a little underwhelmed.Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and activity-filled getaway!

Fabulous Rental Home

This 2 week rental home exceeded our high expectations! This home is very clean and furnished beautifully with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The location is fabulous, close to shopping, restaurants and spectacular Mountain views! Zilka was great to work with, always responding quickly to any questions.

Immaculate accommodations in a superb location

We have never stayed at a place as clean and as organized as this one. Location was perfect - close enough to many restaurants, Engles & the Crossroads. Do make sure you bring all household supplies & such as it is sparse. My only issue was use of the washer & dryer. It was difficult to use as they were behind barn doors that you had to move back & forth. Cute doors but not practical. Outdoor area was lovely & we enjoyed the fire pit. Would liked to have grilled out but we understood the bear situation.

Mountain Retreat

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The home was even better than the beautiful pictures on the internet! It was very tastefully decorated, very private and very well appointed...CLEAN and clutter free yet also with everything we needed. Our host was very inviting and responded promptly to any questions, etc. We enjoyed privileges at the nearby pools, golf, etc. as well as visits to nearby towns of Cashiers and Highlands. Definitely deserves a rating of 10 out of 10!!! :)))

Restoration Hardware Show Room House

Waking in, you feel like you have walked into a Restoration Hardware showroom. It is absolutely beautiful. Everything in the house looks brand new. No wonder it is for adults only. It is perfect for three couples. The bedrooms are great size and each have their own bathrooms. The living, dining and kitchen are all in one open area which makes it nice to be able to constantly visit without someone being in another room. The back porch and yard look like something from a movie set. It is spacious enough for the whole group with picturesque landscaping. There is plenty of signage throughout the house so you know what to do and how to operate everything without having to refer to the house book for instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Blue Ridge Pearl delight!

We were looking to get away from the heat for a long weekend, and enjoy our time in the mountains. The Blue Ridge Pearl was PERFECT. It has a great combination of style (beautiful decor) with comfort. The location was close to amenities and felt very private. Everything appeared to be recently updated and suited our needs perfectly. From indoor style to outdoor peace, we loved our stay. 10 out of 10. Would definitely return.

This was by far the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The entire process was seamless with exceptional attention to detail and thoughtful gestures making our stay truly unforgettable. The communication with the host was exceptional. The neighborhood is private, quiet, and close to everything in the resort, restaurants, Fairfield Lake, grocery store, and shops and to downtown Cashiers, and Highlands. There are many beautiful waterfall hikes nearby. Upon entering the property, we were blown away by its immaculate cleanliness and interior design. The house itself was beautifully appointed, with comfortable and stylish interiors and a wonderful balance of textures, creating a soothing atmosphere that helped everyone relax and unwind. The furnishings were high quality, and the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every room was beautiful and well-stocked with games, puzzles, etc.The thoughtful touches and amenities provided by the host truly made us feel welcome. From the bottle of wine, blueberry banana bread, and the basket of snacks left for us to enjoy to the abundance of towels and toiletries available, we felt like every detail had been carefully considered. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. There were laminated instruction cards for everything, which made things so much easier. The landscaping, porches, and yard with the fire pit were beautiful. We saw a black bear one morning in the woods behind the home. We'll be back!

Fantastic stay!

What a fantastic stay at this spectacular mountain escape! Starting with the host who answered any and all questions very quickly. The instructions were extremely detailed and helped make our stay truly stress-free and enjoyable. The house was even nicer than the photos - and it was spotless. One can tell that the home had just been renovated top-to-bottom. The overall decor was a very tasteful and elegant mix between mountain and modern - something that is hard to find in the area. The 3 ensuite bedrooms all had their own baths, and the beds (all king size) were extremely comfortable with high-end sheets. We cooked during our stay and the kitchen was perfect: well-furnished and beautiful (the grocery store is only a 6-minute drive). We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the morning sun with our coffee and on the covered back porch for drinks & BBQ in the evenings. Both of us had to work during part of our stay and we were impressed with the high-speed internet and the 4 desks in the house, making it easy for us to be on simultaneous Zoom calls. From a neighborhood perspective, this home sits within a country club, behind a gate and at the end of a cul-de-sac with a paved and very accessible road. It was very quiet, and we felt safe at all times. We ate at the Library Kitchen one evening, one of the 3 Sapphire Valley Resort restaurants that are in walking distance. I am already looking forward to booking another stay - highly recommend this vacation home!

Beautiful home!

We were in town for a college golf tournament our son was playing in at Sapphire Valley. What a beautiful area! The house was just perfect-clean, quiet, comfortable and Silke was super helpful and responsive. All our needs were met-highly recommend.
