Welcome to Needlepine Lodge, located in the gated Country Club Estates community. This beautiful log home offers easy access, a level driveway, and a peaceful setting in the heart of Sapphire Valley.
This spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home, plus a bonus bunk room, comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. Conveniently located within Sapphire Valley Resort, you'll be within walking distance of many resort amenities, restaurants, and the Country Club.
Property Highlights
The inviting living room features exposed wood beams and a beautiful stone gas fireplace, creating the perfect gathering space after a day of exploring the mountains. The bright, well-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast table for four, while the adjacent dining room comfortably seats eight and expands to accommodate up to twelve guests.
Step outside to the back deck, where you'll find an outdoor dining table with an umbrella—perfect for enjoying meals surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.
The main level features the primary suite with a king bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs are two additional guest suites, each offering a king bed beneath cathedral ceilings and a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Between the guest suites is a bonus bunk room featuring two bunk beds with twin mattresses on top and full-size mattresses below, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for children or additional guests.
This home is ideally located for guests who plan to enjoy the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities and is within walking distance of The Country Club of Sapphire Valley, The Library Kitchen & Bar, Slopeside Tavern, and Mica's Restaurant.

Amenity Passes are available for $5 per person, per day.

The Guest List located in the Welcome Book
Only one member of your group needs to bring the Guest List to the Community Center. Once your party has been entered into the system, each guest may visit individually with a photo ID to receive their own Amenity Card.

Located just next door to the Community Center, the Recreation Center (REC) is home to the fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas. mini golf, and arcade. It also offers a variety of fitness classes, seasonal activities, and special events throughout the year.

Cancellation Policy
30 days or more before arrival: Receive a 100% refund of all prepaid amounts, less a $100 cancellation fee.
14–29 days before arrival: Receive a 50% refund of all prepaid amounts, less a $100 cancellation fee.
Less than 14 days before arrival: No refund will be issued unless the property is re-booked for the same dates and under the same rental terms, with no financial loss to the property owner. If the property is successfully re-booked under these conditions, a refund will be issued in accordance with the amount recovered, less the $100 cancellation fee.
Security Deposit: A Credit Card Pre-Authorization of 10% is due 1 day before arrival and released 7 days after departure.
Payment Schedule: 50% due at time of booking. Remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.

North Carolina law requires that all vacation rentals have a signed Vacation Rental Agreement on file. After your reservation is confirmed, you will receive the agreement by email and will have 7 days to complete and return it.
You may sign the agreement electronically using DocuSign, or, if you prefer, simply print the agreement, sign it, and return it to us by email or mail.
If you plan to use the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities, you will also receive a Guest List to complete with the names and ages of everyone in your party. The completed Guest List is required only for guests who wish to obtain Sapphire Valley Resort Amenity Passes.
Please note: Your reservation is not fully confirmed until we receive your signed Vacation Rental Agreement. Reservations that do not return the signed agreement within 7 days are subject to cancellation.

Excellent family friendly!!
We enjoyed staying here. Our kids and cousins loved staying in the kids room with bunk beds. Kitchen was fantastic, plenty of space and well stocked for 11 people (could have been 12). All adult were very comfy too. Ski site was excellent!!!
