Disfrute de las espectaculares vistas en esta muy amplia casa de Balmain de tres dormitorios, uno y medio baños. Hay estacionamiento en la calle disponible, o es solo un corto trayecto en ferry a la nueva zona comercial, Barangaroo, con fácil acceso desde allí a Circular Quay, la Ópera de Sydney y el CDB (Centro).

El espacio:
Ingrese desde la calle a un hermoso jardín toscano de estilo toscano con árboles frutales y camas de hierbas. Las puertas plegables conectan el patio a una cocina gourmet grande y completamente equipada, con lavaplatos, estufa a gas, horno eléctrico con ventilador, microondas y cafetera, además de una mesa para ocho personas cómodamente. Fuera de esta cocina es una lavandería de tamaño familiar con WC. Continúe hacia el comedor separado con una mesa para cuatro y un par de cómodos sillones, y luego vaya a un suntuoso salón con un sofá de dos plazas, dos sillones más y TV de pantalla plana.

En el siguiente nivel, encontrará tres habitaciones bien equipadas con calefacción / refrigeración de ciclo inverso, dos de las cuales también tienen ventiladores de techo. Las tres habitaciones tienen camas tamaño queen y vistas al horizonte de la ciudad, el puerto de Sydney o el puente Anzac. También hay un baño en esta planta con bañera.

En el tercer nivel hay una gran terraza en la azotea con vistas absolutamente impresionantes de la ciudad, ideal para el entretenimiento o una vista perfecta de la famosa exhibición de fuegos artificiales de Año Nuevo de Sídney.

El vecindario:
El histórico Balmain está lo suficientemente lejos de los principales centros turísticos de Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House y el CBD para tener un ambiente relajado, pero lo suficientemente cerca para llegar a la acción en diez minutos si es necesario. Con tiendas, mercados y una gran cantidad de restaurantes en las proximidades, es el lugar perfecto.

Está a una corta distancia a pie de los autobuses y del muelle de Balmain, con servicios regulares de ferry que cruzan el famoso puerto de Sydney hasta Barangaroo y Circular Quay, ambos cercanos al CBD de Sydney y a las estaciones de tren. Si tiene un automóvil, hay un fácil aparcamiento en la calle fuera de la propiedad.

We were four work colleagues in Sydney for a trade show. the property was fantastic as centrally located to pubs n restaurants only a short walk for dinner after a busy day. Beautiful views and superbly fitted out with old world decor

A little bit of paradise!

We had a great stay at the Villa! It has wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces with beautiful views! The owners were delightful and very helpful with suggestions of things to do! It is only a 15 minute walk to the ferry and 5 minutes to the buses - transportation system in Sydney is outstanding! I would highly recommend this Villa!

One of the best vacation rental experiences

The property is delightful with many decks/balconies overlooking the harbor. Easy to get to via ferry and after hectic days exploring Sydney its a great escape on which to enjoy a glass to wine. The hosts are great and offer many suggestions of place to visit and eat which one might not find in a guidebook. Sydney away from the hustle and bustle

Really enjoyed our stay at Giacomo & Lyns place. Away from the hectic pace of Sydney CBD, but close enough to access easily. Balmain East has a great vibe, good restaurants along Darling Street. House is roomy and well maintained. Giaocomo readily available for assistance on best way to get around.

Best place to enjoy Sydney

We have stayed with Giacomo and Lynn before in their other beautiful property, so we were delighted to stay in this house! The home is beautifully decorated, with all modern conveniences. We appreciated the extra adapters for our technology. We loved the peaceful location and easy access to the ferry. Great two pubs in town with exceptional food! We will be back!

Tuscan Villa Overlooking Sydney Harbor

Great accommodations in a great location in the Balmain East suburb of Sydney. Comfortable house with super friendly hosts that will make you feel right at home. And the views are simply outrageous. There is a balcony and city view from several of the rooms and a bonus roof top terrace. The kitchen is huge and is very well stocked with appliances, pots, pans and utensils. The ferry is nearby as are restaurants and shops. We will return!

Beautiful house, excellent location!

We stayed in this amazing property for a girls getaway in Sydney. The location was perfectly located and we were able to get to all of the locations we wanted over weekend, including the city and Bondi. busses and ferries are walking distance. the local area has a great vibe with great restaurants and shopping. The property is a beautiful home with tons of character and charm. The rooftop terrace is breathtaking with a a harbour side view of the city skyline. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this house.

We first stayed a week. Then went to other cities. We liked it so much we cam back and rented it again. We would definitely stay here again. 5 min to bus. Then 5 Min to ferry. Under 40 min by ferry to most close in Quays. You could not find nicer people to deal with. Highly recommended!

Perfect house

Balmain is a very nice area. It's like a very nice village. You can find everything. Shops, cafes, restaurants, groceries stores... Giacomo is a very welcoming host, he explains everythin. The house is a jewel- historic, perfect location, close to bus and ferry and shops and restaurants. We liked the views of the skyline, the Harbour Bridge and the quiet courtyard. Highly recommended! We loved coming home after a day spent in the city.

Highly recommend this property!

Giacomo went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. He met us at the property and walked us thru every room explaining how to operate the awnings and all features of each room. He even supplied us with Opal passes so that we could use the public transportation (ferries, buses, and trains), he asked we give a small fee for this but saved us the hassle of having to get our own passes which require a deposit. Giacomo spent a great deal of time with us explaining the transportation available to us as well as the lay of the land for shopping, dining, location/ times of various terminals. I will be back! Thank you Giacomo.

Perfect place to stay

We are travellers from Vienna and have visited Sydney for 10 days in January/early February 2019. From the time we booked, everything (check-in instructions, contact information, codes, etc) was communicated with great clarity. At our arrival, we instantly felt welcomed. The hosts are a wonderful Australian couple with a great empathy for travellers. The residence is an amazing villa with a view of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Darling harbour. The house is very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen; we enjoyed preparing our breakfast every day. The location was terrific; the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We loved our 10 minutes walks to Balmain East ferry every day (stopping for a coffee at café Euphoria), catching a ferry to Circular Quay (15 minutes) or Darling Harbour (8 minutes). The house exceeded our expectations and made our holidays in Sydney very special.

Excellent Location and Hosts!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Lyn & Giacoma's house. Giacoma was great at communicating with us prior to our arrival and with providing us a wealth of information during our stay. He was also extremely accommodating with checking in early after our extremely long journey from the United States. The location is excellent. We loved having breakfast on the elevated front porch while watching the cruise ships dock directly in front of the house. East Balmain has a Woolworth grocery store as well as a BWS liquor store for all your shopping needs. There are also plenty of great local restaurants there. A :20 walk down to the bottom of Darling Street will take you to the ferry where you can catch a quick ride to Darling Harbor, Pyrmont Bay, or Circular Quay. You can walk to just about any place in downtown from those three locations. It's a nice walk to the fish market from Pyrmont Bay. There are also lots of restaurants and bars just south of the Pyrmont Bay station. From Circular Quay you can walk to the opera house and the Royal Botanical Gardens. If you have a car, make sure to go to Bondi Beach to do the cliff walk. The views are absolutely amazing. Another must do suggested by Giacoma was to have breakfast in Manly at The Pantry. It is right on the beach. Both the views and the food are amazing. It is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Parking is extremely difficult in Manly, even early in the morning because everyone arrives early to go to the beach. There is a parking garage on Gilbert Street near Belgrave Street that is an easy walk to The Pantry. I highly recommend Lyn & Giacomo's house. We absolutely loved Australia and would most definitely stay at this house again if we ever return to Sydney.

Wonderful space and location

Our family of 5 thought the space was excellent. We spent 5 nights. Nice view of the City. The beds were very comfortable. The place had about anything you could need. Plenty of paper products and soap and laundry soap. The location is about 10 min from the ferry wharf walking. This wharf has a ferry that goes to Darling Harbor as the next stop (7 min) OR go the other direction and in 3 stops you are at Circular Quay (less than 15 min). And you can catch the bus closer to go to wharf or into the City as well. There is a good kitchen set up with all you need. Owner brought a drip coffee pot in for us as they had a couple of options. Instruction/information book is helpful. The info on the HomeAway app that the owners send is invaluable so read it and use it. We took a cab from airport which was about $100 AUS for a maxi taxi (for 5) on the way there due to early morning traffic and construction at airport delays. It was much faster and about $30 AUS cheaper on the way back to airport to leave as we left later in a.m. The outside decks are very neat. If it would have been a little warmer and less rainy we could have used more--such as in different season. One shower and two toilets was good. Heaters in each room were great in the evenings during this time of year. Remember you will need adaptors for the electric outlets. The grocery store was about 10 minutes walking. There are several restaurants between grocery store and apartment. We had Gigi's Italian, Sushi Hub, Gellataria gelato and Joe's Deli for some heat at home Italian. All were good. Bottle shop for beer and wine was in the same area. Owners were very responsive and helpful in setting up the reservation and during the stay.

A perfect Christmas

This house is awesome. Quiet, peaceful, spacious, stunning view and such a variety of places to sit including the lovely roof garden. We had a lovely 4 days and our hosts could not have been more accommodating.

Bugs and Filth in Balmain

We booked this property over the holiday season and chose this property because of the 3 bedrooms and rooftop fireworks. Giacomo was a pleasure to deal with prior to our arrival and very helpful with questions relating to New Year’s. However, upon arrival it became very clear that this property was drastically over represented and over valued for the condition it is in. The towels were stained, and the headboard in the master bedroom also had a huge stain. Disgusting! The whole house has a dank smell (my kids were gagging). The upstairs bathroom had a drainage problem and water pools up on the bathroom floor, making the bathroom difficult to use. We had to take really quick showers to avoid a swamp! There were also dozens of BUGS on the ceiling in the bathroom. When we called Giacomo extremely upset, he offered to send a cleaning lady to come inspect the property. She never showed up! Giacomo also offered to refund a portion of our money and once we checked out, he refused to do so. In short, very disappointed that Giacomo refused to keep his word regarding a discount on the very overpriced rates he was charging during the holiday week. We wound up seeing the fireworks on a boat for the 9 o’clock show which was wonderful and returning to the house to view the midnight fireworks on the rooftop, which was also wonderful. But not worth the price we paid for the conditions we endured during our week of vacation!

Great house with fantastic views of Sydney, a gem

Amazing landlords offering a great family home for our recent trip to Sydney. A very comfortable property in a super location offering the best views for our new year celebrations. Easy access to everything via boat or bus, the perfect base with great independent shops, cafes and restaurants on the door step. Great place to explore Sydney. The ferry terminal is a beautiful 10 min walk and the ferries get you everywhere. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. The roof top patio is where we would spend our evenings . Nice to see the Cruise ships come and go.. Ken was a great host and very helpful. Just a couple of notes. There is one shower for the 3 bedrooms, but has another washroom downstairs. Also the stairs to the rooftop are quite narrow and might be difficult for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Historic House with Great Harbour Bridge Views

With the idea to visit Sydney for the NYE world famous fireworks I located this place that had such amazing reviews. I was hesitant at first because my choice was for this house with the Rooftop Garden with direct uninterrupted views of the Harbour Bridge or to choose their other house next door without the rooftop garden but with 3 bathrooms and also exceptional reviews. I eventually settled on this one because of the ability to have complete access to the rooftop garden and enjoy the NYE fireworks for the whole family and friends. The best decision I had made for the entire trip. EVERYONE in our party and visitors we had over absolutely LOVED the house and it’s amazing location in the Inner City. The NYE fireworks by the way were just outstanding, more than living up to our expectations. We felt we were right in the action with brilliant view lines right across the city skyline and Harbour Bridge. Spectacular. The house itself creates it’s own energy and warmth as soon as you enter from the kitchen. It is just so interesting and inviting with a beautiful polished terracotta floor. Very Italian / Mediterranean with an abundance of utensils and appliances if you like to cook. Clearly the owners do. The rest of the house is so charming and very comfortable. Linens and other amenities were all first class and we constantly thought how lucky we were to have chosen this house and its great location. This is really Inner City living without all the high-rise. That’s part of the spectacular view and it’s so quiet.   We actually hired a car because we planned a day trip to the Blue Mountains with our children but aside from that trip we did not need a car at all. Public transport is so easy to use and first class and you can’t beat that Ferry trip to the city every day, passing by the Opera House and under the SHB. You can get to all the tourist spots in no time at all. No wonder Balmain is so popular. We had a great time. A memorable time. Don’t hesitate. This is a great place.
