The Secret Garden

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The space is located on 2.6 acres of lush tropical plants. A pool is just outside the door with chairs to lounge on. The space contains a bedroom with a king size bed, full bath, and a sitting room with a kitchenette. It is the perfect place for a couple to spend quiet time, but it is close to shopping and beaches are a short drive away. Naples restaurants are many and excellent.
The space
Property has lush greenery all around. Many fruit trees and varieties of palms. Owner is a floral designer who grows greenery for her designs. Absolutely beautiful foliage. The property is designated as a Certified Wildlife Habitat.
Guest access
The lanai, pool, bbq on lanai and the workshop and the three rooms are all accessible. The 2+ acres of garden are always open as well.

Two weeks wasn’t enough! The”gardens” and the Hostrss, Kathleen are wonderful. The location is excellent close to all of Naples amenities. We were treated better than just “guests”you are part of the entire lanai and all it has to offer. The grounds are extensive and deserve a stroll. Kathleen could not be more accommodating! Enjoy your stay.

I would call this property 'paradise'. If I never left the property, I would have still been content. The flowers all around the pool area are just stunning. Orchids everywhere! My husband and I both enjoyed sitting and chatting with Kathleen on the beautiful patio. She was so enjoyable. I think we have a friend for life! We found the king size bed to be very comfortable. Everything was so clean. Such a lovely place.

Tranquil Garden setting

Comfortable, clean and in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. An added plus is the new bathroom with all the latest bells and whistles. The landlady is charming snd shares ideas of where to eat and her favorite second hand thrift shops. We hope to return.

Warm and friendly.

Beautiful, Cozy and Green

We loved staying at the Secret Garden! Everything was prepared, the bed was very soft, the bathroom and kitchen were wonderful! Really felt comfortable. And the outside was lush and green with orchids and other plants in bloom, tended by Kathleen with care. And so many more plants, a huge pool and hot tub. And lots of birds in the mornings! It’s in a quiet location, and not too far from the ocean and Everglades. Go out to eat, or make food here.

Paradise for you!

Our host, Kathleen, was incredibly accommodating during our stay. My partner and I enjoyed a short vacation to the beaches of Naples. Kathleen's place was a wonderfully relaxing paradise. She thoughtfully provided us with beach chairs and an umbrella. During our vacation, Kathleen graciously invited us to an Easter dinner, a truly amazing and traditional meal for which we were very grateful. To be honest, we found it quite difficult to leave; we could have easily stayed another week! If you appreciate a peaceful and quiet environment, this is the perfect place for you.

No one would ever guess what a peaceful, beautiful, delightful treasure they are about to enter. Kathleen, the owner, greets you with warmth and hospitality. She has every amenity in the apartment that you would ever need. If she doesn’t, just ask her for it!You are treated like family. We highly recommend the “Secret Garden” and plan a return visit ourselves.

Stay in Paradise

Kathleen is a wonderful, talented, sharing host. Not only did I enjoy the grounds and lanai area, but we did some unusual things. I had dinner with her and other guests, 2 flower arranging sessions, 2 flower hammering sessions and a trip to the local botanical gardens. (I would love to do the musical swings with her there again, LOL!). Maybe we wouldn't have done this had all of us not been artists already, but we just seemed to 'click' together. Kathleen and Joanne (other guest) are talented painters and we talked quite a bit about that while doing our other projects. That was good for me as I haven't done as much painting as they have. It was such a blessing staying with other artists. Kathleen is an accomplished National Garden Club Design Instructor, who is also mighty patient! Her expertice with plants is evident in her relaxing landscape and home environment. I also enjoyed bird watching most mornings while having breakfast on the lanai by one if the most beautiful pools I've seen. Of course, I would love to stay at this wonderful home again! Kathleen is planning to have a new water filtration system installed soon. She recommends store-bought drinking water until then and provides some at check-in.

Have been hosting for four years and gusets love my paradise. I love having guests. You aare free to walk around the lush 2.6 acres of tropical plantings, or stay "home" and enjoy lounging around the pool and lanai where there is usually a puzzle in progress, read, sun, or think!

The Area is mostly homes on 2 or more acres and they are all different and well taken care of. It is a quiet and private neighborhood.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The lush tropical greenery, the many and varied fruit trees and the fact that the property has been approved as a Nature Wildlife Habitat makes this a unique and delightful place to stay with many amenities and few people. It is not a place to be seen or to to "see."
