Inspired by the surrounding landscape, Creekside Comfort NC was designed to make your visit a unique, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. With 2 king master bedrooms on the main level, this 3BR/3BA, pet friendly cabin (extra charge) is on a rocky creek in a cozy, wooded setting with seasonal mountain views and only minutes to hiking, skiing, and shopping. The wood-burning outdoor fire pit, by the creek, is a wonderful place to gather. There is a covered front & side porch, as well as a covered rear porch and an open-air deck with outdoor dining table and eating bar that over looks Shanty Creek. The cabin has nearby access to some of the best hiking in NC, including the Grandfather Profile Trail. This cabin is conveniently located just off of HWY 105; between the Boone & Blowing Rock area and around the corner from Sugar Mountain, central to much of what the High-Country offers. This property features exterior security cameras. The cameras are street facing only and do not face the property.

This house is amazing! Tucked away on a quiet path it is very convenient to everything. The sound of the running creek directly behind it is so soothing. The house is so user friendly, Everything is labeled and it makes it so much easier to find whatever you need. It is fully stocked with all the essentials and even a welcome basket of snacks!! We loved everything about this place and wish we could have stayed 3 more weeks.

Loved staying at the cabin. It was incredibly clean, and an excellent location. The best part was sitting by the creek enjoying s’mores. It had everything we needed and very organized.

We are two couples who, after decades of frequent travel, can say without hesitation that this cabin easily ranks among our top favorites. Not only was the communication with the host exceptional, but the setting was superb, it was beautifully and tastefully furnished, absolutely immaculate, and was exactly as pictured in the photos.Every little detail of this rental was carefully thought out — right down to clear labeling of where to find what in the kitchen, and even the light switches. The result was an unexpectedly smooth, relaxing stay without wasted time trying to find things. We always do our very best to leave a rental in just as good condition as we found it, but this was such a pleasant rental experience from start to finish that we doubled our efforts!

This was the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. And the most organized! Our hostess had everything labeled, so much so that my husband was so impressed. He wants to get a label gun and start labeling at our house! There was not one thing that I could say I wish had, because she thought of everything. it’s the best we have slept in a long time, listening to the wonderful stream behind the house every night. So soothing. We were conveniently located to three golf courses that we played while here. We also have to say that we appreciated the hostess, Kimberly, in the booking process because of circumstances we had, she made the booking process so much easier for us. We will miss staying here. Thank you, Kimberly for sharing your beautiful home and allowing us to have such a nice relaxing time..

My family had a fantastic stay at Creekside Comfort. The cabin is beautiful and the location is perfect. Everything was nearby. The hosts have thought of everything. I mean the attention to detail was amazing and so appreciated by my family. We would definately stay again.

The host was incredible! The cabin is absolutely perfect, and has EVERYTHING you need. Our family of 5 had such a great stay that we didn’t want to leave. We had a minor setback with some vehicle trouble, and the host recommended a mechanic that got us squared away quickly. Communication was excellent, the setting of the cabin is ideal, and we can’t wait to go back.

Mountain getaway

We went there for snow but it wasn’t cold enough, but the beauty of the cabin made up for it. We really enjoyed it. It was great!

This cabin was extremely well appointed, clean, and organized. The inside has a great layout and there were plenty of charming outdoor spaces to enjoy the scenery and the river. The location was close to the towns of Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock, as well as plenty of hikes. We did not ski but it was close. Communication with the host was easy and thorough. This is a well cared for property and every detail has been thought of!

Perfect Spot

Great property for much needed rest and relaxation. Enjoyed many meals outside on the deck. Appreciative of attention to detail such as well stocked kitchen, labeled light switches and tv instructions. Perfect location to Boone, Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain. Easy to find property with plenty of space to stretch out.

A lovely cabin

The house was fully stocked and everything was labeled for easy access. Beds were comfortable and the furnishings are on the higher end. They also decorated for Christmas which made it cozy. We enjoyed our stay! Kimberly is an excellent host who communicated quickly and thoroughly.

Sugar Mountain

The most well appointed rental we've stayed in. Owners accounted for everything you could possibly need on vacation and then some with clear and concise instructions. Proximity to Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk Restaurants were convenient...nothing more than 15 min drive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect getaway

Lovely welcoming host, amazing house with every comfort and thoughtfulness you could imagine. Amazing location. Close to skiing, hiking, and small town. Wish the weather were better when we went so we could have enjoyed the absolutely gorgeous backyard with roaring creek, firepit, and outdoor dining. Total 10/10!

This property was great. Very clean and nicely organized by the host. Everything you can thing of was available at the property- except for groceries-which was only a short ride away. Great property! Will definitely be back!
