Cozy, family friendly country Side Cabin 15 Min to the Ark Encounter w/fire pit

The perfect family friendly cabin nestled in a quiet, country side lake neighborhood, with about an acre of outdoor space to enjoy, fire pit for those summer nights or any season really.
Fully fenced front yard, balcony/porch area with a table and 4 chairs to enjoy the complementary authentic Colombian coffee and assortment of herbal teas while listening at the huge variety of birds, pack and play, high chair, toys, children books and children friendly plates, bowls, cups and cutlery for those families with little ones.
Comfortable king bed in main private bedroom, one queen size bed and 2 stackable twin beds for a total of 4 twin beds located in the loft area perfect for children to have the cabin like camping experience. Fully equipped kitchen with blender, kettle, microwave, toaster oven, electric stove, full size refrigerator and complementary honey, spices.

The cabin has a whole house water filter so you can enjoy softer water when bathing.
It is Only 15 min to the Ark Encounter and about 45 min to the Creation Museum.

For summer time if you still have time after visiting the Ark and Creation Museum, there is also a marina only 17 minutes away where you can rent a pontoon boat to go and enjoy the lake.

We do not use interior cameras but use exterior cameras to help coordinate cleaners, checkins and checkouts when we are not there.

Cutest family cabin for our Christmas adventure. Jennifer and her family were the hostest of the mostest. Excellent communication and went above and beyond to show their generosity to make our stay perfect. The cabin was perfect for our young family of five. Very kid friendly with a fun indoor swing, high chair, books, and toys. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us the flexibility of cooking our meals at the cabin. We appreciated the organic and natural cleaning and soap products as well. We came to the area to visit the Creation Museum (about 40 mins away) and the Ark Encounter (about 15 mins). I highly recommend staying at the Sweet Harmony Cabin. When we visit the area again, we can't wait to return to the cabin.

The location was very peaceful and scenic. The living conditions were quite good and the location was near the Ark and other attractions. The place was clean, the host was very helpful and the cabin had some good features. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

The cabin was an excellent location for visiting the Ark Encounter and driving to the Creation Museum. The cabin was very clean and had just the right amount of space for our family and grandparents. The property is beautiful with green trees all around. We appreciated that they clean with organic cleaners as well.

Great little cabin

We had a great time. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Area was nice and secure. We would have liked more seating in the den area, but there were folding chairs and the dining chairs you could use. We also brought several games but no table except outside to play on. Just a note because we would have brought a folding table and chairs with us if we had known. It was just like the pictures, so it was my mistake. Lots to do in the area, could have stayed a lot longer and had things to do each day. Books on the ark and creation museum were there that we used to prepare for those trips. Had a great time in a great little cabin.

Fantastic accommodations!

Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing, clean, accommodating place to stay. Location perfect for ark encounter. Everything you need for a comfortable stay and cooking at home. Fire pit at night is a plus!!Nate and Jennifer are fantastic property owners. Great communication.

Perfect for a young family

This cabin was PERFECT for us and our four kids! Kiddos went upstairs and had their own space, age appropriate toys, and the gated yard and wrap around porch ment our 1 year old could happily and safely run laps outside after being in her stroller all day! Close to amenities and the Ark, we will be staying here again when we return!

4 Day Weekend/Getaway

Cozy little spot to stay and very convenient to check out the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, hike Red River Gorge, as well as explore southern Ohio and Indiana. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Perfect place, close to the Ark and Creation Museum

This was our second time staying at this cabin and it was just as magical as the first time. It has everything you need and is in a super cute spot with groceries and anything you are missing within a short driving distance. The extra touches make it a cozy place to stay and very cute at the same time. We came with a total of 6 of us and were quite comfortable yet again. We have made this our annual anniversary trip to see the Ark and stay here, see you next year!

Great place to stay!!!

Beautiful cabin that is quiet. Even the sheets are organic cotton and so are the quilts. It makes a difference. We went to the Ark Encounter and to the Creation Museum. I liked the hills to walk for a good exercise. It isn't right on the lake but a quick walk to the lake. I think you need a boat to fish it good but there isn't a spot there to put in a boat. It is still good though! My husband is the one that wanted to fish. I like doing the walking. Beautiful wood cabin!!

This was a very nice property. If you have small children there are safety features in the house also a few toys. The owner even leaves you a few treats. Very clean and welcoming. We would go back!

Could have been better!!

The cabin was nice! The location was deceiving. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. Was doing some laundry and the dryer quit working! The biggest problem was the lock on the front door, one time we couldn’t get it to lock when we were going out and then we couldn’t get back in. Had to wait for the manager to call us back and finally we got the code for the basement door so we were able to get in. Not the perfect vacation!!

Our stay

couple of hiccups that should be addressed. The first problem was keyless front door lock. It was totally useless. We had to use the side door. The second would be access to the side door. There should be a gate to gain access to the side doors.

Beautiful cozy cabin

My family and I stayed here over the weekend while we visited The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and homey! We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who will be in the area and will stay here again if we go back.

Very clean, very nice.

Not really what you want if you're looking to spend time on the water as there is no shared or public lake access close to the cabin. If you want it for a base as you explore the area for things to do, then it's perfect. The cabin is very nice, everything works and it has all the things you would need. The wifi is adequate and it works well for a family or two couples. One bed/bath on main floor and 1 queen, 2 twins and a bath in the loft.
