Easy vacation
Lichfield is the perfect location for families who want to spend time at the beach, the pool, and explore PI, MI, Gtown, etc. The check in process was very easy, room was ready on time, etc. The property is in decent shape and is just fine for a beach vacation.
One of the bathrooms was not cleaned properly. It wasn't gross, but it had obviously been forgotten. Floor and toilet had not been cleaned after previous guests.
The other bathroom had a faulty shower. The valve must be broken, and the thermostat in the property is definitely set too high. It went from cold to boiling hot. Our children are independent and usually jump in the shower on their own. Thankfully I was in the bathroom when my youngest got in the shower. Otherwise, he would have burned himself badly.
The paper towels and toilet paper that were available were the cheapest possible options. Not a big deal, but a little annoying considering the price you pay for vacations nowadays.
There were no trash bags other than the one in the can when we arrived, and there were no directions about how to leave the property. Since we didn't really know what to do, we cleaned up, put dirty towels in the tubs, etc. It would have been nice to get a message assuring us that there wasn't more to do.
Overall this was a nice place and I'd recommend it to anyone. The shower could have been a bad accident and I'm sure they'll get that fixed. The rest of the stuff was just mildly annoying and didn't affect our stay.
