The McKenzie BnB - Charming & Cozy - 1 Block from Downtown Pullman!

Enjoy all the charm this 1940's cottage style home has to offer! Centrally located just one block from downtown and within walking distance to campus. Enjoy being close to restaurants and all the Pullman community has to offer. You'll feel right at home at The McKenzie BnB! From the moment you step in the door you'll be taken back in time by the perfectly curved archways, original wood trim and windows. The home has been given updates with fresh paint, updated light fixtures, new tile in the upstairs bathroom & downstairs half bathroom, furniture, bedding and decor all while keeping the history of the home. Perfect for a weekend visit, home football game, graduation or other Pullman/Moscow occasion or for a longer stay in the area. There are three bedrooms all with very comfortable mattresses, luxury linen bedding and large built in closets. One of the bedrooms is on the upper floor, while the other two are downstairs. Also located downstairs is a half bathroom, large unique shower room and basement laundry. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs so you can choose to stay in and cook a meal, or if you'd like to eat out you're within walking distance to downtown restaurants. The large dining room table comfortably seats six. The living room is right as you enter the home and has a large smart TV and basic cable for you to enjoy a cozy night in. The entire home is heated through central air and is controlled by a thermostat in the dining room. There is also another bathroom upstairs with a toilet, sink and newly installed tile shower above the bath tub (finished May 2023). The home is a true labor of love and project for my husband and I to continually update over the next year. We want whoever stays here to enjoy the home & it's ideal location, so much that they choose to come back or recommend the listing to friends & family!

This is a very cute house in a great location. Layout is handy with 2 bedrooms in the downstairs along with a bathroom and the King size bed (very comfortable) on the main floor. With a son playing football for WSU, we will be back again for sure!

Super cute and very clean older home, great location with comfortable furniture and beds.The house did get a little warm (it was 90) thakfully the house has a ceiling fan in master room and ac window unit and portable fans for the rooms.Will definitely book this location again for our next family trip to Pullman.

It was absolutely perfect!

This sweet home was perfect for our visit. We were there for our daughter’s orientation at WSU. The house location is fantastic to downtown and campus. It was also spotless, which is a big one for me! We tried to book again for parents weekend, but someone already nabbed it. Don’t hesitate to book this home…. It’s one of our favs and the host is wonderful

Great house!

I stayed here with a friend while our daughters were at the WSU swim camp! Emma was great and was very responsive! The house was in a very convenient location ! I would Highly recommend staying here !

Super cute cozy house!!

We absolutely loved the McKenzie BNB! The property is super clean and had everything we could possibly need. Our family was in town for campus tours of WSU and UofI. It is located so close to both and made our visit painless. We will absolutely stay here for any future trips to the area!! Emma was amazing to work with and responded within minutes to any questions. Thank you for everything

Excellent....location, cleanliness, responsiveness of hostess are all deserving of a 5 star rating. We were there with family and providing our 15 year old grandson with an introduction to WSU....and Pullman. He had a great experience. The many added cozy home touches were greatly appreciated...loved the living house plants and welcoming coffee/tea bar. Our hostess set the bar extremely high for all future Vrbo stays. The house was VERY clean with every need provided for. It was simply a great stay....many thanks.

Perfect weekend get away

Everything about our stay at the McKenzie bnb was flawless. The communication with Emma was prompt and thorough and she was extremely helpful. The house was so clean and stocked with everything we needed. We loved the location and will definitely try and book this place again for another WSU football game weekend. 10/10 would recommend.

Short, sweet visit to Pullman to see our student

This was perfect for our needs! The house is charming, well stocked and lovely attention to every detail. We were very comfortable and our son enjoyed the respite from his dorm. Far nicer than staying at a hotel. Very nicely stocked kitchen, 3 beds very comfortable, and incredibly clean and neat. Everything was top notch, and I wouldn't hesitate a second about staying there again. Close to all that Pullman has to offer and only 15 minutes to Moscow ID. Owner was very quick with responses when we had a few little questions.

Charming and perfect

A Perfect blend of old world charm and modern furnishing. Beautiful old house with modern fixtures. So Clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything you could need. If I have any choice, when I'm in Pullman I will always stay here. Just loved it!

Wonderful Stay

Our family of six loved our stay. We appreciate mid century homes and this one has been beautifully maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We walked to coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Our host Emma was responsive and welcoming. We were visiting from GA to attend our two son’s High school graduation in Moscow ID and the drive to Moscow from Pullman was super easy. We love VRBO and this house is one of our favorites.

WSU Tour

Emma’s place is beautiful. I love her aesthetic of blending vintage and modern design/decor. The house was spotless, set up with everything we needed for a great visit with a full kitchen, luxurious bedding/towels, comfortable furniture, and a sweet outdoor spot for morning tea. It was super close to WSU and downtown amenities as well as several parks. Overall, a super place and I loved having downtime there. I’ll definitely stay at Emma’s anytime I plan to be in Pullman.

Welcoming, super clean and very nice

We stayed in Pullman to spend some time with our Coug. The house was welcoming, super clean and very nice. Kitchen is fully equipped but we only took advantage of the coffee machine. Really appreciated the personal welcome note Emma left us. Emma was super responsive sent left very clear checkin and checkout instructions. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing & Cozy

Lovely well appointed home just perfect for my two teens and my husband and I while we had a two day holdover on our college tours. Loved the ease of arrival and access and the personal note and recommendations were extra kind. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!!

The property is unique because of the time it was built, the early 1940's. It has original woodwork and curved archways throughout, combined with newer updates of light fixtures, paint, tile and bathroom hardware. The home is very charming and it gives you a feeling of coziness.
