Welcome to Steeple Bush Basecamp Lodge at Black Butte, South Meadow #173. We are excited to offer 4 free Hoodoo tickets each day of your stay!!
This modern yet cozy forest chalet is perfect for families of various sizes to enjoy all seasons and adventures in Central Oregon. Relax on the two large patios, soak in the hot tub, brave the heat of the sauna or grill outdoors! This owner managed property is well maintained, clean and tastefully decorated to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

This family and pet friendly chalet offers 3 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen), with a bunk room (4 twins) and sleeper-sectionals in the office and bunk room (full size). This place is perfect for 10-12 people! You can sleep comfortably with AC via a new split unit system in the summer months. The outdoor hot tub is very private and there is an indoor sauna as well! High speed internet will allow you to do work/school from home while enjoying the Black Butte amenities (6 pools, golf, miles of walking and biking trails, stables).

Guests are welcome to use the bikes (stored in the garage), pingpong, foosball, and croquet set. We keep the home well stocked with everything you need for a family getaway (toys, games, puzzles, pool towels, gas grill and firepit, fully stocked kitchen complete with spices and tupperware, etc).

We will send you Welcome Instructions (Check In/Check Out Procedures) as your visit nears. This cabin is on Steeple Bush, located conveniently between the South Meadow Pool and Glaze Meadow recreation center and pools.

Late Arrival Instructions – Black Butte Ranch
If you expect to arrive after 9:45 PM, please call the Welcome Center at 541-595-1252. When you call, they’ll collect your information (name, address where you are going, and your license plate number) to allow one-time access through the gates and into our private resort community.”

Just a heads up: once the Welcome Center closes (10:00 PM Sunday–Wednesday, 11:00 PM Thursday–Saturday), guests will not be able to get into the gates without connecting with Welcome Center staff before then. Calling ahead is the best way to ensure you can enter the Ranch without any issues. Note: if we don’t hear from the guest, there is a chance that they will not be able to get entrance to their rental. It’s essential that we connect before our closing time. We want to make sure they’re able to start their vacation with no headaches!
In the morning, it will be necessary to go to the Welcome Center to get gate access and their parking pass. Proper parking and gate credentials are essential and help guests avoid potential police citations.
