Grandma's House - home away from home, close to UI, downtown IC and Coralville

Grandma's house is a relaxing home away from home. It gives you a place to gather around the table at the eat-in kitchen or sit out on the oversized patio in the private backyard. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need to make or heat up a quick meal. There are two family rooms to provide plenty of space to spread out, play games or watch TV. This home is located near a major highway which makes it easy to go anywhere in the city.

Plenty of restaurants nearby, including Pagliais Pizza, Wildwood Smokehouse,etc. The University of Iowa is nearby, as is Kinnick Stadium, Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Hancher Auditorium and many other arenas and auditoriums. Relax and enjoy the area.

Grandma's House is not an Event Center. Parties/Sendoffs etc. are not permitted under any circumstances. Guests hosting parties will be assessed a penalty of $500-$1000 in addition to the reservation payment. No parties ever.

The house was very welcoming and extremely clean and organized. Labels on things to make it easy to understand instructions and how to use things. Beds were comfortable and close to downtown. Would recommend if you are looking to be closer to downtown and want that homey feeling.

Perfect place for families

This was a perfect home for our family to stay when we needed to stay intown for appointments at the Hospital. Great location, quiet neighborhood. Easy check in and the hosts were very accomodating! Thank you for a great place to stay.

My family enjoyed their stay at Grandma's House, everything went smoothly. Perfect amount of space for the kids, loved being able to head outside. Location was perfect to get together with other family. Communication with owners was excellent.

Great Property

This property was very clean and the check in process was very easy. The home had absolutely everything you could need, pots, pans, silverware, coffee, linens, etc. Very impressed and the location was perfect for our needs. Would highly recommend this property.
