Welcome to our spacious Asheville-area retreat, the ultimate getaway for large families and groups! Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, this home offers everything you need to create lasting memories together.

Accommodating up to 10 guests plus your dog, our family-friendly home is stocked with essentials for relaxation and fun. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious family meals, and thoughtful touches like baby gates, a pack-and-play, and a high chair make it a breeze for guests with little ones.

Step outside to your own private 3-acre backyard oasis! Unwind in the hot tub, gather around the bonfire pit, or enjoy some friendly competition with ping pong, darts, cornhole, and more. Inside, we’ve provided a variety of board games for cozy evenings together.

Endless adventure awaits just around the corner! We're ideally located just 15 minutes from the stunning Blue Ridge Parkway and 9 minutes from North Carolina's top-rated brewery. Discover more nearby with a short 10-minute drive to breweries, cideries, wine bars, and restaurants, or head to downtown Asheville in only 20 minutes.

Stephanie is an excellent host! She even sent us photos of the pots and pans so we could be sure there was plenty of supplies to cook our Christmas meal! There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 toddlers so we never felt crowded. And the fenced area was perfect for our dog!

The hosts provided every comfort in this spacious, gorgeous home. The guest guide was SO detailed and helpful to make the most of the Asheville area. We enjoyed time on the porches, by the firepit, and relaxing in the hammock. We would love to come again!

We had a wonderful time at this property! There is plenty of space inside for cooking, dining, and hanging out, and a ton of outdoor space for us and the dogs to play. We spent the majority of the time outside enjoying the hot tub, fire pit, and loads of games that the hosts provided! The bedrooms are on separate floors which worked out great for us. The house was very clean and the hosts were welcoming and responsive if we had any questions. We also enjoyed the surrounding area, and Whistle Hop Brewing is a great spot to enjoy with your family/friends! We loved our time here, and hope to stay again sometime soon!

We loved our long weekend as a family here! The property is large and beautiful, the home is well appointed and exactly as pictured, and the location is quite and close to Asheville. We really appreciated all the extra touches to make it so family friendly and all the indoor and outdoor games. Getting to bring our dogs and letting them run in the fenced in yard was a nice bonus. Hope to stay again in the future.

We enjoyed everything about the house. It was fully stocked with what we needed. The house was super comfy and relaxing. My favorite was the hammock and the deck and the native flowers! We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub and ping pong and games. The beds were cozy and my kids loved the “magic lamps”! Communication with the owners was great! Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. We stopped at the Mill River Valley overlook at sunset…that was lovely too! Thanks for everything!

Great family home

My husband and I hosted our young adult children to a weekend together. The house was spacious and the bedrooms are set through out 3 different levels. Everyone had their own private space.The common areas didn’t feel crowded at all. The dining table was oversized so larger groups will fit great.We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with added bonus of decaf and regular coffee , creamer and a variety of sweeteners. Miscellaneous spices, salt and pepper. Lots of towels, warm blankets and bathroom toiletries . The house has a variety of games to choose from. The hot tub worked great. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Our two furry babies enjoyed the outdoors. Some of us got a peek of the wild turkeys . The house is up a mountain surrounded by trees. Beautiful setting.The host was attentive and responsive any time I reached out. Loved our stay and will be coming back in the near future.

Mountain hide away

Beautiful property despite hurricane Helene. Great fenced yard for dogs, large fire pit perfect for family gathering, great house with hot tub! We comfortably slept 10. There was room at the table for all of us for Thanksgiving dinner which was wonderful!

Just what the soul needed..

From begining to the end was pure relaxation. Everything was clean and anything that we might of forgotten was supplied for us. Will plan another stay with them again.

Truly a Home Away from Home experience!!

The house was amazing, plenty of accomodations for my entire family, and the owners really think of everything you'll need! Spent Christmas there with my family, even has some decorations up!! Games galore inside and out! The backyard is supreme! Feels like a cabin in the woods, and the campfire really sealed the deal on capturing a vacation in the mountains! Location is easy to get to, and close proximity to attractions and shopping. It really felt like home! My entire family wants to come back!!

Perfect place

This place literally has it all, tranquil country setting surrounded by a forest with a wrap around porch, yet a short drive to Asheville and Black Mountain! Beautiful home with plenty of space to hangout out together or find a quiet corner to read or nap! The outdoor space was amazing, a hot tub, ping pong table, darts and plenty of room for a game of wiffle ball or a swing in the hammock! Our pups loved the fenced area and we loved they had some place safe to stretch their legs off their leashes! I can’t say enough about this place, and Stephanie and Andrew were wonderful and very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!!!

We've had the opportunity to travel and kept finding ourselves coming back to the Asheville area. It has such a great mix of nature trails, great food, and fun breweries and wineries. We found this home to share our experience with others and have as a meeting spot with our family.
