AMAZING TIME

We had a blast! My whole family enjoyed the house. The lake in the back was beautiful and the pool was beautiful even though it was too cold to go swimming. We’ll be back next year!!!!

Perfect for wedding weekend

Tara was helpful to ensure we had a smooth stay. The house was clean, the property was spacious and private, there were toiletries and a welcome basket and other amenities provided to make our stay enjoyable. Tara was also very accommodating to allow me to invite over my other groomsmen and their wives to hang out the week of my wedding and get ready for the wedding day, provided we were respectful of the space and not excessively loud. It was perfect for those of us who stayed there and those who joined us during the daytime. There were only a couple of things that went amiss, and Tara was quick to communicate and make things right. A bathroom doorknob that wasn’t locking was replaced within hours. Information on how to use things around the house was provided in a book inside the front drawer, which she responded to us about quickly when we asked. I think the ONLY feedback I would give is to include more items in the check-in section of the booking in VRBO, so less is left to chance and to reduce the number of messages needing to be exchanged. :) Thanks for everything, Tara! We had a great time– I’m married now and on my honeymoon in Costa Rica, so THAT was a success– and I recommend this stay to other guests.

No hot tub

First of all, I have never had to do a bad review. We arrived and had no check in instructions, I had to call the host to be able to get into the door. The showers were pretty dirty, the “hot tub” (which is actually a garden tub in the bathroom) had dirt and hair still in it from the previous stay. The pool was very dirty, it was too cold to swim, but still takes away from the experience. The grass was shin high in the yard. The house itself is very nice, just wish the upkeep matched the beautiful house. I had to text her to get instructions to leave. Overall I would say this host is not very organized and the house upkeep needs to be maintained better. I also feel there is some false advertisement due to the listing showing a hot tub, but it does not work. That was one of the biggest reasons we chose this place. Cleanliness of the cleaning crew was not up to par either….my wife had to clean both showers before her and my daughter would use them.

This is false. You already had a wired arrangement with a previous guest, and it didn't work out. This property has never had bad reviews as above. Always clean and hiest reviews. Your arrangement didn't work out and this is what happens. See below what you requested. Hello. This is Cody Cannon. We have the property booked on March 10th-12th. My friend Melinda Greene has it booked prior to our stay. We will not need a cleaning between our stays. She said she had asked you not to clean after her departure, but needed confirmation from me that I agree. Which I agree not to have it cleaned between the bookings. Wonderful, Relaxing, & Spacious

This house was so wonderful. Let's start by it being in the city, but feeling like it's isolated and away from everything at the exact same time. Going in December, we didn't get to experience every little detail of the property, like the pool and lake. But we still loved it. When you get there, the house welcomes you with a great over hang in front of the garage and a u-shaped drive way for you to park right infront of the home. Once you open the door, wow! It is so spacious. You first see a nice front room and then you see the living room to the left and the front guest room to the right. Just passed the TV is the other 3 rooms. If you go left all the way, you see a huge kitchen and a nice dinning area. The back door is just off the side of the dinning area and you come out to a propane fire pit and a nice back yard with a lake view, pool with a waterfall to the left. If you go right, you see a gate that opens to the lake and the rest of the property (or just go around the side of the house from the front). The lake has a deck and some chairs, beautiful and serene. Behind that is the rest of the property it's like a small forest. Back inside the house the middle bathroom has two doors from the two back rooms and the side guest room. The master is so BIG, with a large bathroom and huge walk-in closet. Thank you for making this home available and so welcoming. We hope we can go back when it's warmer to enjoy everything. Still wroth it, without the pool. :)
