Sit in firepit area and watch and listen to the Little Schuylkill River or take a walk down to the river to enjoy some fishing.

The home is beautiful, well appointed, and very clean. We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant across the street was good and nicely priced.

Perfect getaway

This is one of our favorite VRBO’s that we have ever stayed at. It was beautifully decorated, super clean, and an excellent location. We had a river in our backyard and walking distance to the local restaurant and candy shop.

Nice Quiet Getaway

Great Place! We were in the area for Drum Corp in Allentown about 40 minutes away. I prefer to be in a small town vs. a city and this place was perfect. The place was clean and well taken care of. Had family from Pittsburgh join us and they enjoyed their stay also. The open kitchen- living space is perfect for hanging out and visiting.

Incredibly clean and well equipped

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at this location. The place was immaculate and so enjoyable to just hang out in. When we travel we often seek to get out and explore. However, this place was so relaxing that we just walked, sat outside next to the river, and spent time in the living room catching up on movies. Fantastic rental!

Charming Home in Port Clinton

We had a beautiful weekend in Port Clinton! The home was gorgeous, welcoming, fully equipped and comfortable! We woke up to snow on Saturday with squalls periodically during the day. We will definitely return to this home for another weekend soon. Thank you for your hospitality Sylvia!

We had an amazing stay at Riverview in Port Clinton! The beautifully renovated schoolhouse perfectly combines historic charm with modern comforts. The spacious first-floor apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a full kitchen and cozy living room with a fireplace. We especially loved relaxing by the firepit, listening to the peaceful sounds of the Little Schuylkill River. The location was perfect—close to Hawk Mountain, Cabela's, and other local attractions. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

School house

The property was amazing. The river running through a the backside was absolutely beautiful. We arrive during fall so all the colors of the trees were amazing. The house were great left cookies on the counter for us with a lovely note the beds are comfortable to place was very comfortable loved all the decor. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay while we did our work. It was like home away from home.

A hidden gem

Everything about this property is exceptional! We came to participate in the King Frost parade in Hamburg and found this spot was perfect for the four of us (me, my husband and my sister and brother in law). Spacious and with all the amenities you need. We ate a leisurely breakfast and then headed out for the day. Relaxed in The evening by the fire pit outside and then by the indoor fireplace. Couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience!! Thank you Sylvia!

Three couples over a summer weekend

We spent the weekend in July 2024. We arrived on Friday and decided to eat at the Port Clinton Hotel instead of cook. Excellent meal right across the street! The fire pit outside is propane and easy to use. We sat by the fire and listened to the river. On Saturday, there is so much to do in the area, we had to decide between Cabela’s, Hawk Mountain, wineries, and we picked river tubing to beat the heat. The grill was clean and we came home for a cook out around the fire. The space indoors was clean and cozy. We played board games and had a nice time inside as well. We wish we could have taken one more day off to spend it in the area.
