Tahoe Donner w/ Private Hot Tub

With 4 Bedrooms and 3.5 Bathrooms along with a large great room, bonus / game room and separate living area downstairs, this “Pet Friendly” house is perfectly set up for a group of friends or families alike. Enjoy all that Tahoe Donner has to offer incluing a private HOA beach at Donner Lake, Two Pools, Rec Centers, Equestrian Center, X County & Ski Area!

This cabin has three levels and features accommodations for up to 10 guests.

- Multiple living areas (large great room on main floor, loft area above, bonus / game room downstairs, separate living area downstairs)
- 2nd Mini Master Suite on Upper Level with Ensuite Bathroom
- Nicely equipped kitchen
- WIFI (Disclaimer - Note that when a lot of visitors are present, internet service can become spotty / intermittent due to stress on the broadband system. This is typical throughout all of the Tahoe / Truckee region.)
- 3 - 4 parking spots in driveway
- 3 Flat Screen TVs SmartTv capability (one in main great room, one in each of the downstairs living areas)

Guests will have full access to this home with exception of the garage. That area is locked off and contains owner belongings. There is also a few closets throughout the house that are locked off and not included as part of this rental.

As a host, I live local in the North Tahoe / Truckee area and manage several properties. I'm here if you need assistance but will certain respect your privacy while staying at the home.

Booking guest must be 25 years of age or older.

Maximum 10 adults per Town of Truckee ordinance (additional room possible for children; however please inform host when booking)

Community quiet hours from 9pm - 8am daily.

No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.

No smoking of vaping.

No commercial photography and / or filming allowed.

While this house is “pet friendly”, all pets must be disclosed when booking and a non-refundable pet fee must be paid. Maximum 2 mid-size dogs per rental group (any others must be approved by host in advance). Guests agree to take full financial responsibility should there be any damage or additional cleaning required due to pets presence.

There is parking for 2 - 3 cars on the driveway. Note that the attached garage is not accessible.

No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per Town of Truckee ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).

Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.

Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home.

The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 5 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).

There is a small area that leads from the driveway to the front entry door. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe snow on the path. There are shovels located onsite that can be used by guests, but we recommend that you travel with a shovel during winter conditions.

WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.

Winter Wonderland Stay
Our family group had the experience of staying here during the "blizzard weekend"! It did not disappoint. Large home with a great layout for our group. We were able to sled right next to the house, Hot tub and fireplace appreciated this weekend. Would like to return when maybe there isn't quite that much snow and the ski areas can open. No fault of the property though. Very comfortable beds all around, and so nice having 3 rooms with king beds!! Property Manager Dave responded quickly to requests and was always helpful.

Great for our family trip to the snow
The house was really well set out with bedrooms all above or below the kitchen/dining/living area after one walks in from the driveway which can house 4 cars. It was great that our two adult children who have between them three kids, 9, 2 and newborn, could have comfortable space and toys and crib etc needed for them to be comfortable. The kitchen and dining facilities were very adequate for most all our cooking and meals. The management company was very prompt and extremely responsive to all needs before, during and after our stay. And the hot tub was on when we got there and put to good use after ski and snow days. These and other features lead to a definite we would return there recommendation.

What a wonderfully comfy home!
We were beyond happy with the beautiful home! The pictures are nice but the atmosphere of comfy and coziness made it a very pleasant surprise! The home was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Thank you for being so thoughtful in setting up a wonderful stay for us!!
