Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 full baths, with hot tub, fireplace and outdoor deck. The deck invites you to relax next to the twin maple trees and enjoy the hot tub, rocking chairs and dinette set with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This property is a duplex, completely private with the 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths located on the second floor, providing more privacy from the main floor. The outside deck and hot tup are completely private and exclusive to this side of the duplex. There are no shared spaces except for parking. Just 11 minutes to nearest winery and only 20 minutes to Giant City State Park, and close to many wineries. Set in the little town of Anna, with walking distance to shops and resarants. This cozy home is the perfect retreat to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful Shawnee Hills and wineries.

The home was simply immaculate! Decorated tastefully and so very comfortably! It geeky like home away fun home but better. You simply will have a hard time to find a more charming clean, and ideal location! Saying we loved it durst do it justice. Our caretaker made sure everything was beyond our expectation. Cannot recommend enough. The outside veranda was so inviting. Wish we could have enjoyed that amazing hot tub but maybe next time. So relieved there is a local place in town for my parents to stay when they visit! Thank you Kathy for everything! You're the best!! People don't sleep on this hidden gem.

Great location for hiking and wineries. House is decorated so cute. Two full baths, both upstairs. Three bedrooms upstairs, each with queen size bed. Kitchen has all you need, if you want to cook. Great sunroom in the back of house. Big Plus: 4 person hot tub in backyard is fabulous after a gorgeous hike in the area! Would stay there again!!

Perfect weekend getaway.

Everything was exactly as described and even more. The kitchen is fully stocked with every spice you would need. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. The entire house was decorated very nicely and the clenliness was immaculate. Kathy was very responsive to our every need and even went above and beyond! Highly, highly recommend. H9use could comfortably accomodate an ntire family or group.

Birthday Getaway

We have stayed at both properties over the last 3 years and have enjoyed the location and the town of Anna. We are able to visit the wineries, Cobden and Murphysboro easily. We like to visit during small business Saturday so we can enjoy all of the town activities that day. On nice days you can walk up the street to The Dinner Bell Too or take a quick drive to the coffee shop downtown.

My wife and I are from Louisville, Ky and we wanted to get away for our anniversary and had a great time! The house is very nice and spacious and it is stocked with anything you could think of. The back deck lights , hot tub, firepit set the amazing mood. Definitely would recommend this place and we will definitely be back

Great Adult Weekend

The location was great and close to the wineries. It is on the main road so traffic was a little loud at night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The hot tub was very nice and the host provided plenty of towels and amenities.

Family Reunion

We traveled with our sons and extended family for a reunion. We rented both sides of the property and opened it into one big house. The houses were beautiful and everyone loved staying there. The location was close to everything and Kathy was wonderful to work with. This is our second year staying here.
