The definition of a "walk in and say wow!" property. This completely remodeled $1.3M home on Mt. Washington invites you to prop up your feet & relax with the whole crew. Every inch invites you to explore - a secret room, a bar / game room, outdoor deck / patio, gorgeous kitchen, beautiful bathrooms...we can't say enough! Featuring a garage + off-street parking, and just steps from Grandview Ave, this is the perfect home base for extended families, friends, coworkers, and more!

We don't normally provide a full write up for properties, but this one is special! Walk through the full front porch into the foyer, with a crystal chandelier & cool brass art. To the right is the comfortable living room, with a full dining room to the left. The back of the first floor features the full, well-stocked kitchen, poker room, and half bath.

Heading upstairs to the second floor, a full bath sits at the top of the stairs. This floor features 4 bedrooms, one with an ensuite full bathroom (and you can't miss the built in fireplace!)

Heading down to the lower floor (we wouldn't dare call this the basement, as it's only slightly below grade) you're welcomed into the space with a completely restored stone foundation. To the right is the bar + game room, with arcade games, foosball, and giant connect 4, plus an additional full bath. To the left is...just a wall. Kidding! There's a secret door, for a bedroom with ultimate privacy in mind.

Head outside, and you're greeted with a full porch off the detached garage, with outdoor dining, cornhole, and a spacious yard if you want to bring any of your own yard games.

You have to see this house to believe it!

Mt. Washington is all about the views, and Grandview Ave. is known for it's world-class skyline viewing. You're less than a block away! Easy to navigate to and from, you're just a few minutes from Station Square, Southside, North Side, downtown, and plenty of other attractions in the city. The Mon Incline is less than 10 minutes by walking away, giving you easy access to the rest of the city.

We have parking for 2 in the garage, and 2 in front of the garage, so there's plenty of off-street parking!
That said, we're conveniently situated less than a block from Grandview Ave. on Mt. Washington, and a <10 minute walk to the bars & restaurants of Shiloh or the east side of Grandview with LeMont, Monterrey Bay, and more, so if you don't have a car, you don't need it!

A <10 minute walk will also lead you to the Monongahela Incline, which provides connections to Pittsburgh's subway system known as the "T," stationed at Station Square. The "T" offers transportation to key destinations including Heinz Field, PNC Park, PPG Paints Arena, Rivers Casino, and all the vibrant cultural districts in downtown Pittsburgh.

Both Uber and Lyft are super easy from here as well.

Key Ts & Cs (but not limited to) are listed below.

1. Smoking (or vaping) is not permitted inside. Smoking is allowed outside only; please, no butts on the ground. A minimum $2,000 cleaning fee will be reported if evidence of smoking is found in the home.

2. People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight in the property without prior notice. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. The host has not represented this unit as an event facility, therefore, there is a limit to the number of any visitors at any one time (in addition to registered occupants) of four (4) up to a maximum of 14 persons in the property at any given time. At no time may any of these visitors remain overnight or assume any guest privileges whatsoever.

3. The host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

3. Guest is responsible for all child proofing. Any child amenities (pack & plays, high chairs, etc.) shall be completely and fully inspected for satisfactory working order by Guest prior to use. Hosts do not inspect child amenities between stays, and any injuries resulting from their use are 100% guest-related.

5. There is no daily housekeeping service. While the house has been thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rate.

6. Tampering with / disabling the decibel meter and refusing to reinstall it is grounds for immediate cancellation.

7. We are very flexible hosts, and do not ask or expect our guests to clean prior to check out. However, we also don't expect our guests to leave a mess; cleaning that requires substantially more time than usual due to garbage, stains, spills, etc., will be charged to the Guest at $40 per hour.

The house is HUGE!! Definitely somewhere to book if you have a big group looking to stay under the same roof. Owner is very accommodating and resourceful. Would stay here again.
