Esta acogedora casa se actualizó recientemente con pisos de madera noble, encimeras de granito, alfombras, gabinetes, electrodomésticos, muebles, azulejos, persianas, puertas, etc. ¿Por qué quedarse en un hotel degradado o deteriorado cuadro playa cuando usted puede permanecer en una casa totalmente actualizado para coste comparable ?? Optar por disfrutar de la vida en Avon Carolina del Norte mientras se relaja en la cubierta, sentado en la bañera de hidromasaje o tomar un paseo a la playa. Home está situado a tan solo 3 minutos a pie de acceso a la playa y está cerca de todos los servicios de Avon (compras, kitesurf, surf, pesca, spa, muelle, restaurantes a, tiendas de surf, mariscos, etc.). Surfistas, kiteboarders, pescador, amantes de la playa todos bienvenidos !! La casa tiene 3 dormitorios y dos cuartos de baño completo y es lo suficientemente grande como para dar cabida a personas adicionales. Everything was as the listing stated, appliances were all there and fully functional, hot tub was clean, beds were comfortable, location was quiet and a nice walking distance to the beach. All stores restaurants and shops were all either in walking distance or a short drive away!

First trip to avon

We loved our time here! Great location! Very close to the beach . Very close to the stores and restaurants. House was great! We have no complaints. Any issues we had the owner addressed promptly! We would definitely stay here again

House was just as advertised. No surprises there.Quiet neighborhood and easy access to a not crowded beach area. Nice middle location for exploring all of the OBX.

The property was nice. We didn't get to use the hot tub because the top was broken and the front half was sinking into the hot tub. Took pictures and sent to owner. Also lots of palmetto bugs. We killed about a dozen Good location close to stores snd restaurants in Avon. Family said beds weren't comfortable, but when you're used to one type and sleep on another type, that makes a difference. I would like to have blackout blinds or curtains to block out sun in bedrooms. I'm on vacation and don't want the sun waking me up 6 in the morning. Nice place overall. Stocked with essentials to use in kitchen. Owner was very responsive to contact.

Perfect get away

Annual stay

This is the 5th year our family has stayed in the Avon area and this house did not disappoint. It was a bit farther north than usual, but we’d def stay again. Communication was great with the home owner too!

An OBX gem

Our family of 6 really loved So Many Roads. It was such a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the large living/kitchen area where everyone can spend time together. One of our favorite things to do after a beach day was jumping in the hot tub. There was plenty of space for some rainy day corn hole in the driveway. Highly recommend!

Absolutely superb experience at So Many Roads.

So Many Roads was everything we were looking for, the pictures really don’t do the place justice. The area is quiet and peaceful and located close enough to the surroundings that you could walk just about anywhere you wanted to go. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at So Many Roads. Everything was exactly as expected. House was clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nice, though one of the burners on the stove didn't work. And the family really enjoyed the hot tub.

Perfect getaway

We just got back from a 6 day getaway at So Many Roads. Our group consisted of 2 adults and 6 young teenagers. The house was perfect! The beds were comfy and the hot tub was hit. The walk to the beach was easy. The beach was pretty quiet most days and it was easy to find a spot to set up. We enjoyed the local restaurants especially Cups n Cones for ice cream and Hatteras Sno-Balls. Food Lion and Dollar Tree were a quick car ride away. We hope to return again next year! Thanks for sharing your home!

Great Vacation! Wish I Were Still There!!

This house was impeccably decorated and very clean! All the comforts of home were provided to make our stay very relaxing …. which is exactly what you want when you’re at the beach. Had a little situation with the a/c going out but everything was handled in a VERY profession manner and fixed within hours. The house is conveniently located (within walking distance) to some restaurants and the Dairy Queen (yum!) is just right up the road. Probably my favorite amenity was the hot-tub ….. great way to start the day and also end it ... with a glass of wine, of course. Thanks again for a great stay!!

Home away from home.

When we got there, it was still being cleaned, but we were early. Saw some sites and killed some time and came back. When we walked in, it was like being home. Everything was nice and clean and ready to go. Beds were comfortable and living area was spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a nice meal. There are nicer homes up and down the strip, but for the money we spent, this exceeded our expectations. The treck to the beach is a little daunting though. It’s not that far, but the dunes are very high and there is some steps. So if you’re weak in the knees like us, it was a little rough.

It's Time for Repairs and Updates

I have never needed to leave a negative comment for a place we've rented, but unfortunately there were some pain points in this home that directly affected our vacation and I can't honestly recommend renting it until the owners make a few repairs and/or solve a few issues. Pros: The house does look just as pictured in person. The decorations and updates are nice in the kitchen and throughout the bedrooms and family room. It's definitely a cute beach cottage, and perfect size for a small family (we were two adults and our toddler) but not GREAT for a small child like ours because it's very close to NC 12 and there's not much room to ride a bike or scooter that doesn't put the child right on the highway. Not a deal breaker, but just for fair warning, I thought I'd include it. He did have fun on the scooter under the house/in the driveway. Location is good - very close to Food Lion and a few restaurants and seafood markets. The check in process was good and we felt happy with the location. Cons: Waterbugs, aka Oriental Roaches aka Palmetto bugs. The morning after we checked in, we awoke to a large roach crawling up the drapes and throughout the day, would find 5 more. These large bugs are NOT a sign of infestation or a dirty kitchen. We get that. They are prone to wander in when a house is backed up to lots of thick brush like this house is. It still had a negative effect on our trip and kept us on edge looking out for them. We saw 2-3 after that initial day. Large appliance issues were a problem. We ran the dishwasher and the result was standing water inside and no dishes were cleaned, even though it looked like the washing pod was dissolved. We wound up running it 4 times and finally just gave up because the dishes weren't getting cleaned. We washed everything by hand after that. We had some trouble with toilets not flushing as well. Maybe this house needs a septic pump? But at one point, my husband had to use a Tupperware filled with water to get the toilet to flush. Just regular size flushes were slow to go down. Not fun. Neutral but worth mentioning: There's not a ton of outdoor lounge space. There's a small deck but it is in need of treatment from wear and water rot, and we weren't comfortable using the hot tub since the wood looked so degraded underneath it. There were some responsiveness issues from the owner at first, but he did wind up communicating with us throughout our visit after we flagged these issues.

This property was just what we were looking for. The hot tub was located off the living room. Very convenient. It would have been nice to have dish towels and more than 2 towels for 3 night stay.

On beach time

We came to the house to enjoy Avon and the house had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was a very convenient location being close to the beaches, stores, and restaurants. The beds were comfortable which was a wonderful surprise.

Loved this convenient property

The communication was exceptional….quick, accurate, easy! The property is not fancy but is very convenient, comfortable, clean, so close to the beach (5 minute walk) and to several restaurants, grocery, fish market, coffee shops, ice cream so made it very relaxing and easy. It is on highway 12 but setback from the road so it’s a bit loud but private and convenient. Highly recommend.

Just the right spot

The house is perfect for those looking to enjoy the OBX without all the crowds of some other areas further north. The beach access is a short walk walk across the road. Fishing piers are nearby. Groceries, restaurants, and other little shops are all nearby. The house had plenty of space for a family of seven. We enjoyed the jacuzzi on the patio as well. The property owner was very responsive to our questions. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our time. We hope to stay here again soon.

Our home provides an opportunity to relax in a new home at a fraction of cost of other beach rentals without all the associated fees. Avon is in the heart of HI and close to all amenities. Relax in the hot tub, take a walk along the sound or endeavor in a short walk to the beach. Our favorite thing is to rent bikes and ride to the coffee shop every morning and also a ride around the soundside village then head to the beach for the day.
