The house was wonderful — cute, clean, great location! The WiFi was strong and dependable, which was helpful since I had a couple work zooms during our stay. The neighborhood has great restaurant options and was close to downtown and the family we came to town to see. The owners/managers were easy to communicate with and forthcoming with all necessary information. Although we didn’t use the pool, it looked clean and inviting. We have one dog and the yard was fully enclosed, and the neighborhood very nice for walking. Great experience!

This house was perfect. Our girls group of seven ladies was celebrating our friends 50th birthday. This house was perfect. The location was perfect and the property manager was so helpful in making it such a special weekend!!!

Great Long Weekend

The reservation and communication were great! I was with my three adult sons for our annual long weekend getaway. We were in Houston the weekend after Hurricane Beryl, so we did not have internet, but we did have power. The home is on the small and older side, but it is well-appointed and great for our use. We used the pool, and it was very nice.

Nice house

Really enjoyed the house and had everything we needed. The pool is a plus. But I am disappointed that I paid for an earlier to check in for 3pm. The unit did not end up being available until almost 5pm. One of the restrooms toilet was not flushing. One of the rooms had a trip hazard with the uneven floors.

Excellent for business stay

2 coworkers and I stayed at this VRBO. The neighborhood is nice... I felt safe. The wood floors are gorgeous. The pool was nice (warm bath water temperature in June). There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. The unit did not come with paper towels so be sure to stop or bring your own. Property management team was ahead of all questions and check in. It is an older house but is renovated nicely. Rooms were dark for sleeping. Coffee pot is drip and makes 4 cups at a time. Overall, I would definitely book at this location again for our convention needs.

Decent location in town but a bit old

House is quite spacious and worked for our family needs. But it was lacking some pretty basic essentials- towels for six people to use in the shower and a set for the pool. They also ran out of trash bags. Messaged the host on both occasions but trash bags were delivered late in the evening and messages about towels came hours later. We ended up buying our own. Also, the images on here are very nice and touched up - the house is older and it shows its age in person. Lastly, it was quite off putting to arrive to the house and see a boarded house next to it. While not in control of the owner of this property, you can see in imagery of the pool that images were edited to make this less noticeable. I’d consider staying at other properties from this owner, but I would not return to this house specifically. It was fine for what we needed but nothing greatly memorable.

Our stay in Montrose

The property itself is a little old and dated. The cleaning people did not did a good job on the property we found glass in the living room where a plant had been broke and glass by the pool and a broken glass bottle in a bush. The middle bedroom had a bad odor almost smelled moldy. The neighborhood was ok and lots of restaurants close. The biggest bummer was we were promised a washer and dryer and upon arrival the washer was broke and we were told it would be fixed and never was. We had 5 people who were traveling and needed to do laundry. It was very frustrating. There is also only enough plates and silverware for 4 people. The owner was fast to respond about everything and said we would be compensated for the washer but we never were.

Slum Lord Special

This property does not reflect the description nor pictures on the listing. The listing doesn't tell you that there is no privacy at this house. The neighbors' houses tower over the 8ft privacy fence, once is a two-story house and the other house is a three-story house that is under construction. The construction starts at 7AM and they are loud, so there in no sleeping in. When we arrived, the place was filthy. The pool was full of leaves and had algae growing in it. The next thing we noticed was that when you walk on the floors, it will turn your feet and socks BLACK! We had to request to have the pool cleaned and the house recleaned. The guys that came to clean the pool were not happy at all by all the screaming and cursing they did at 7AM. There is also a foul smell in the middle bedroom. We tried to locate what was causing the smell but was unable. We narrow it down to the bed that is closest to the window. We think it was a dead rat or animal under the house or in the wall. The clothes washing machine, nor the dish washer worked when we got there. The maintenance guy did get the dish washer working but could not get the clothes washing machine to work. The property owner refused to have the repair guy fix it while we were there, or have another one brought in. The first two and half days we were there the internet did not work. We noticed that the internet would come on in the afternoon and then go back out by morning like it was set on a timer. The mosquitoes on the p

Spacious house and yard. Excellent location. A bit sparse with dining ware but that was a minor issue. Comfortable bed. Absolutely recommend.
