Broadmoor Paradise

Just had a wonderful 12 days at this property. Peter was super responsive to any request- just a joy to communicate with. The house and yard are very private and quiet - only a block off the #111 and could not hear a thing. A short Uber to town. Loved the pool and spa - didn’t even need to heat the pool! The fire pit was perfect for star gazing at night. Highly recommend this property - 10 stars! E and R

Better than Advertised

One of our top VRBO rentals. Description of the property is accurate. Cleanliness, spaciousness, and ease of getting into the property was a huge plus. Pool is perfect for a couple and includes floats and comfy lounge chairs. The proximity to downtown Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, and Coachella Valley was perfect. We enjoyed Lulu’s restaurant downtown for many meals, and the Vons supermarket is just across the way. Very convenient to everything Palm Springs. Peter was also a pleasure to chat with. Thank you for a great stay!!!

One of Our All Time Favorites

This place was an absolute dream. I think everyone agreed that the home was one of their favorite parts of the trip. The architecture of the home truly embodied the Palm Spring's atmosphere, and the decor was incredibly welcoming. Pete was a fabulous host every step of the way.

The Perfect Desert Getaway

Coming through the front door/gate of the property is like entering a secret garden that is simply inviting and peaceful. This home is such a sweet gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were so gracious to allow our beloved pet to join us at the property and made the stay so complete. ( By the way he loved the nearby golf course.) The pool and jacuzzi are lovely, the master suite and bath room are splendid, the fireplace perfect. Everything you need and more is there. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I am not really a huge fan of Palm Springs, but this little oasis has me rethinking that. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thanks Peter!

Amazing as always!

Our 3rd time here, we never tire of it. This house is Goldilocks 's dream, everything is jusssst right. Space, privacy, peace, quiet, comfort, greenery, well appointed in every way, decor that doesn't get in the way...once you are there, you need for nothing. The pool is petite but heavenly, honestly, we hardly leave. It's perfection.

Fabulous home & property

This was our second time at this wonderful pad in Palm Springs and we don’t want to stay anywhere else! Beautiful, comfortable, functional, tons of space & light, and divine outdoor areas. The location is wonderful- very central, yet so quiet. You can tell the owners really care about this property and have made it into such an oasis. We can’t wait to return in the future.

Nice place!

Great location and nice home. The only issue we had was roof rats in backyard and fire ant mounds near grill. Interior of home is beautiful. Exterior could use new paint and overall maintenance.

AMA-ZEN!

This place is great, a truly wonderful experience. It is quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to get away and unwind. It is located in a great area of Palm Springs, close to everything but far enough away that you don't hear much outside the bamboo walls! Great pool and hot tub. Will be back for sure!

Summer retreat

We had a lovely time here for 5 nights. Pete was really friendly and communicated well. We especially appreciated not being disrupted at all during our stay. The gardener, pool guy, etc. were quick and invisible so we felt that we had complete privacy. Thank you for cultivating such an awesome place that provided much needed peace and relaxation, even in extreme heat!

The ABSOLUTE BEST!!

The property was amazing! Beautiful, clean, convenient, and the picture don’t fit justice. The location was top notch! Pete, the property manager was incredibly helpful and kind, he went above and beyond on more than one or two occasions to make sure we have everything we need. He welcomed us via text and checked in everyday!!!I can honestly say it was the best stay I’ve ever had on a vacay! Thanks fir everything and I cannot wait to visit there again!

Family-friendly floorplan

Our family had a great time staying here and the floorplan was one of the unexpected benefits. The master suite is on the opposite end of the house from the kitchen, guest bedroom, and TV room, which made it easy for everyone to have their own space. The outdoor space was awesome as well with the pool up front and the fire pit, patio cover, dining area and grill out back.

Wonderful vacation

Lovely and comfortable home! The house is mid-century cool with everything you could possibly want. The pool is outstanding and the yard is beautiful. It is located near shopping, restaurants and downtown. We will be back!

Just what the doctor ordered!

My partner and I spent a wonderful week here ... wish it could have been longer. The jacuzzi and pool were just what we needed to unwind and relax. The home was exactly that ... our home away from home!

Great house for weekend getaway

We had a nice, relaxing long weekend at this house, it was a perfect spot for a quick getaway from Los Angeles. The house has both a front yard with a pool/spa and a backyard with a fire pit and small grassy area. Our dog enjoyed the ability to roam all the way outside the house but still stay safe in the enclosed wraparound yard. The pool isn't huge but it was perfect for lounging and playing with our 1.5 yr old. The house was clean, and the owner was enthusiastic and communicative. The location is close to downtown Palm Springs (not walkable, but a short drive) and very close to good hiking. I'd highly recommend staying here for a long weekend.

Sean and I both grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been coming down to Palm Springs for the past 15 years. What brought us to the desert is the nearly guaranteed sunshine, modern architecture, relative peace from the bustle of a large urban center, and the great hiking trails and mountain vistas. We have seen Palm Springs evolve with a new 'hipper' scene including restaurants, cultural events (film festivals, art exhibits, etc.), and a variety of healthy lifestyle options, while still maintaining it's small town charm. At 'Zen House II' we try to capture all of the above with simple, stylish, artful design.
