DirecTV, top speed WiFi throughout the property interior and exterior, state of the art video security, and a variety of optional services from tour guides to personal chefs where you arrange directly with the vendor, and we do not take a cut.

Good for what you need

We had a large group to stay and experience Mardi Gras. There was an issue with checkin but within 10-15 mins we got a call back and figured it out. We had the whole house, all 3 units, which was plenty of space for all of us. Each separate unit was quiet even if people were socializing in the next unit. Beds were clean, floor was not. The W/D was nice because we had just gotten off a cruise ship with dirty clothes. One dryer didn’t work, but there was one in each unit. Showers in the upstairs unit weren’t hot, but they came downstairs to shower. Beds were a little rickity, especially the Murphy bed. The AC wasn’t working in front unit but the rest of the house felt fine. Trash cans didn’t have bags, and there were no vacuum/broom to clean up during our week there. We had to buy our own toilet paper. Location was just about a mile to French Quarter. We walked it often. No issues. Neighborhood is fine, just be weary of neighbor across the street. Overall, we felt very lucky to have this entire house to ourselves in that location. We booked a year ahead of time. Would definitely recommend but would be better if floors were mopped….

Amazing house and experience for a large group

The house was exactly what we needed, with enough individual beds for all attendees of our group of 18. It's a unique layout, which contributed to some of the charm IMO. It's a bit of a walk to Frenchman and Bourbon, but they were doable for our group. Highly recommend the Kajun Kastle!

Truly a Kastle

This was one of the only experiences where the pictures made that place look smaller than in real life! You enter through the main living room and it's enormous with high ceilings. There are so many bedrooms - we stayed with a group of 14 and rented out all 4 units. Everyone had a bed and no one had to share! The back deck is amazing and the location is a short walk to Frenchman (the best area to go out, in my opinion). We were beyond happy about this place and would definitely come back with a large group again!

Great family accommodations

Lorenzo’s property was clean, accommodating, favorably located. I will say our teens were a little apprehensive about the neighborhood. But we were alert & careful; with no problems at all. All of us loved the house. Lorenzo knows how to host vacationers!! Thank you. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Work and Pleasure

Finding a place to accommodate 15 men was not easy, yet this house made it look like it. No, it wasn't a bachelor party; we came for a quarterly "team building" meeting with colleagues. The house was awesome. This was one of the nicer places I've stayed within walking distance of the Marigny and Quarter. There was plenty of space to hang out at the house, in fact, we sat around and found time to actually review first quarter results together in the living space downstairs. If you're looking for a place to accommodate 10-15 people, you won't find a nicer house within walking proximity to a good time. We'll be back.

Wow Fun in NOLA

Came down to NOLA for Jazz Fest the first weekend with a bunch of college friends(11- 4 couples and 3 singles) and stayed here. Lorenzo and his folks could not have been more accommodating. The place was great, everyone got there own room, the place was clean and everything was up to date. The upstairs front porch was great to hang on as well as the back deck. The kitchens were stocked with all the glassware, cookware, and utensils needed, The easy access with key codes was great for this large group. We were able to walk to the Fess grounds if we wanted and Frenchman street. Highly recommend for a large group, we will be back for JF 2021!!

Amazing for large parties!

Our group of 12 had an amazing stay at the Kajun Kastle! We rented the entire house for our 5 night stay. The location was perfect and just a short walk away from the French Quarter. The house was quite spacious with common areas on both floors, though we ended up spending most of our time in the 1st floor living room/kitchen. There are 3-4 sets of washer/dryers which we were impressed by. Also, SO MANY BATHROOMS! We used the outdoor space for a catered dinner one night and it was perfect! We'll likely be rebooking when we come back to NOLA!

Fantastic house for large groups

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is definitely the walkable to the French Quarter (15 or so minutes), and the area is very Uber friendly. It was completely quiet at night, which was great. We had a group of 14, rented the whole house, and no one had to use a pull out couch, and only couples shared beds. It was very comfortable for that size, but half the house would work fine for smaller groups. The house owners/managers were extremely easy to deal with and very responsive (I had a lot of questions). I would rent again no question!

One word: perfection!

For the second year in a row, we rented a house through Dave for a group of French professionals visiting for a big convention. This house was absolutely perfect. The configuration was ideal for 10 people (everyone was independent while enjoying the common rooms together). The house was newly renovated and clean, the outdoors were stunning. The location is ideal, as it is at the crossroads of many different areas (and so close to the French Quarter). Dave and his team were always available to answer any questions and did their best to ensure our group felt like home. And finally, the ration quality/price couldn't be better. We're definitely back next year, same date (sorry for the others :-).

A few bumps, but it ended well

This house is just beautiful! It is very well cared for and the owners/managers do a good job at making sure you are comfortable and have what you need. One day the coffee machine wasn't working so they showed up with 2 new ones and a bunch of new glasses since we had a really large party. Super nice! We felt completely safe there despite hearing it is a sketchy part of town and never had any safety issues whatsoever. There are also video cameras outside the house so that made us feel better! The only con we had was that the wi-fi did't work our entire 4-night stay. They really tried hard to fix it, but it never did get fixed. Obviously this wasn't their fault and they said it was the first time it ever happened, but it caused quite an issue with some of the people in our party since we were there for a work trip and were forced to use our phones and use up our data. BUT they were kind enough to work it out... we had stained a few of the sheets and so instead of charging us the $300 for them, they waived the $300 for the lack of the internet. So it ended okay and we were grateful they were willing to compensate us something for the inconvenience. Overall I'd definitely recommend staying here. The house is incredible, spacious, well-cared for and safe and the owners/managers are helpful, responsive and good to work with.

Great big clean and nicely renovated place.

The professional management staff's communication was great and the property was even nicer than expected. It is close walking distance to eating, groceries, and about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute uber/taxi/drive to the French Quarter/Bourbon. The AC was on and ice cold when we got there, which was greatly appreciated stepping in from the muggy New Orleans summer weather.

Great house, excellent location

We were a group of 10 and loved staying in this wonderful house. The location is fantastic, with just a short walk to the quarter, and lots of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Dave and Shinda were easy to work with, and helped make our experience very smooth and easy.

Awesome experience, great location, and comfortable.

Great spot and location for mardis gras (or any trip to NOLA for that matter). Its 15 min to bourbon street, maybe 20 from canal, which is nothing when you think about the the amount of walking we did each day. Close access to street car or bus off rampart if you are trying to quickly get to either canal or a cross street to the heart of bourbon (depending on parade schedule). Quiet neighborhood. I recommend because sometimes the chaos of bourbon street can be overwhelming so you are far enough to take a breather and get away, but close enough still close enough to all the action when you want to be. Even closer is frenchman street which is lively as well (maybe 10-15 min walk). We had the top two units. Everything was exactly how it was pictured, all utilities are in great condition (pretty much new) and the house was renovated well. Beds were comfortable, house has everything you could think of and more. Any questions we had the property manager would respond immediately. Everyone in the group talked about how they loved the place and that they were much happier we went with this option instead of cramming in a hotel room for the same price. Also, when I looked at a lot of the other properties available, they would often feel/look like hostels. This place was not that. It was accommodating, spacious, and truly felt like a home away from home.

Amazing Property, Perfect Location

We loved staying at this property. The units are beautiful, big and clean. Each of the layouts are a little unique, spacious and included everything we could have needed for our family get together in New Orleans. The neighborhood is also one of our favorites in NOLA. This property is within walking of the french quarter and fun of frenchman street but on a quiet little block away from it all. We didn't meet our host, Dave, directly, but he was great to work with throughout the whole process - very responsive and accommodating. I'd recommend this property to anyone visiting the ever enchanting New Orleans!

Clean property, terrible layout

Clean inside and out. Our group rented the entire upstairs of this house. The main issue we had was a actual set up of the property. Be aware the upstairs rental is actually two units with seperate entrances. There are two ways to get from one part of the rental to the other: A) go down the back stairs, through an alley, onto the street, through the front door, and up the front stairs OR B) Go through an emergency exit located outside the small units front door that leads straight into the main units bathroom (with 14 people in the main area there was almost never a time someone wasn't using the bathroom) My husband and I were in the small seperate part of this property and we felt completely isolated from the rest of our group. To make matters worse, the 2nd bathroom that was supposed to be part of the rental was literally through our bedroom in our unit. This put us in an even more awkward situation. 14 ppl in our group were sharing one bathroom and we essentially had our own. I was not the person that booked this property so it's possible the set up was disclosed to the renter...I just really really really wish I had known this was what we were getting into before we arrived. The set up of this house was awful and left us feeling left out and resented. Other notes: The Murphy bed shown in the pictures is in the smaller upstairs space and is almost unusable. Again the bathroom in this unit is through the main bedroom leaving whoever is sleeping on the Murphy bed without access to a bathroom. Unless you don't mind someone walking through your bedroom to use the bathroom don't consider this as a usable bed. The door between our space and the main restroom doesn't have a key pad on it, just a deadbolt that locked from the inside of the bathroom. Because this house isn't in a great neighborhood, the deadbolt needed to be locked each night, further separating us from our group. For the first day and a half, this door was unusable. I don't know if this happens often but don't be surprised if this door is permanently shut. The fan in our bedroom didn't work. There's not nearly enough towels, blankets, or pillows for 16 people in this property. As mentioned above, this property is not in a nice part of town. As soon as you get a block or two away it's fine but don't expect to feel safe in the block surrounding this house. There is a house falling down across the street which seems like it draws an unsavory crowd to the block.
