Me encanta levantarse por la mañana que vierte a mí mismo una taza de café y se sienta en la cubierta de proa viendo la salida del sol sobre las cimas de las montañas y escuchando el océano en el fondo. Es muy tranquilo en este maravilloso barrio. El océano y en mi opinión la mejor playa de Cayucos está a menos de 100 yardas de distancia de la puerta principal de esta casa de playa perfecto. Todo lo que necesitas está aquí así que traiga su maleta y un buen libro. Usted está a poca distancia de todos los restaurantes, tiendas y tabernas. Caminando el la playa al atardecer y tener un vaso de vino es una gran manera de terminar un día perfecto en Cayucos.

Lovely cottage very close to the beach! This is one of the most charming rental houses I've stayed in, and I've been renting vacation houses in Cayucos for years! This house has everything you need for cooking and relaxing, with comfortable furniture, all the kitchen necessities, washer/dryer, and two large and nicely appointed bathrooms, I spent hours in the large soaking tub. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I also found this to be a particularly well maintained property. Walk to the beach is about 3 minutes, and about 2 minutes drive to downtown Cayucos. I appreciate the straightforward and very minimal work needed to close out the house, which saves a lot of time when trying to pack up and leave! Overall, my family and I truly loved this place and we hope to stay here again!

We just had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend in Cayucos.Our host, Melanie was most accomodating and welcoming.The "Cottage" was delightful, more like a very elegant & refined home near the beach.It was perfectly cleaned and prepared.The beds were perfect. ( I think we want the same at home) Updated bathrooms with great showers! A bright, open, airy kitchen with nearly everything you could want. Just a fantastic home for a two couples or a small family.

The kitchen is well stocked for all cooking styles. The outdoor fenced barbecue area doubles as the pet area large enough to suit their needs. The house rules are simple yet thorough to ensure that this beach cottage will be well cared for as expected by the friendly host.

Location was great. Nice kitchen and primary bedroom was large but the other 1 was very small but the beds were comfy. My biggest complaint was that the grill was extremely dirty and not in great shape. My son spent hours cleaning it. Might be time for a new 1

Our family had the PERFECT stay at this Cayucos Cottage! The home has a great layout and provided ample space for our family. The kitchen had plenty of counter space and every appliance you could need, including a Nespresso coffee machine and an air fryer. Our favorite part was waking up in the morning, opening up the big sliding glass doors in the living room, and cozying up on the (brand new!) reclining sofa with a cup of coffee and a book. Such a peaceful way to start the day! The beds and showers were amazing, too! Love how bright and cheery the home is - tastefully decorated, with tons of natural light and windows to let in fresh air. Key pad entry was a plus, not having to worry about carrying a key with us everywhere we went. Any questions we had were quickly responded to, property manager is very attentive. Don’t hesitate to book this place, you won’t regret it!

Great Base Camp for the SLO Coast!

Another fantastic visit to Melanie’s lovely beach adjacent home. Already looking forward to our next trip! The location is great - 90 seconds walk to dog friendly, beautiful beach. Cayucos has old school beach town feel, also close to Morro Bay, Cambia (and Hearst Castle) - could do something different every day for weeks! The home itself is very thoughtful put together with a great kitchen and remodeled bathrooms - exactly as pictured. Thanks again!

Great location very close to the beach. Easy to drive to all of the sites along the coast and to the wine county around Paso Robles. Great kitchen with everything you need for your stay.

Best week ever!

This week long trip to Cayucos was intended as a refresh and reset for the new year and Melanie's cottage was the perfect place to have those intentions realized. Melanie's home is comfortable, well stocked and comfortable. Everything about the process was easy and stress free, from check-in to check-out. The cottage is steps away from a beautiful beach and a short distance to the cute downtown of Cayucos. The home itself embodies comfort and relaxation. We will be returning again and again!!

Grand Time

We had a wonderful 12 day stay at Melanie's cottage! We found it impeccably clean and well stocked. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated with quality materials and the bed linens were dreamy. We took advantage of the deck on sunny days and found it to be a great reading spot while our dog dried off from a walk on the beach. We felt right at home in this cozy nest for our entire stay. Additionally, the neighbors on the street and those walking by were warm and welcoming and wished us well on our last day. We were sad to leave, but definitely look forward to coming back. We highly recommend this Cayucos gem!

Quiet Beautiful Reprieve

We enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was w=easy to use and after long days exploring the parks, waterfalls and natural beauty of the area, we made dinner at the house twice. The home is clean and situated in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach.

Our Yearly Trip to Cayucos

I feel like I am home when I am enjoying this beach house. Neat, clean, comfortable, and an outdoor seating area to enjoy the weather and relax. We prefer cooking in for dinners and dining out for lunch. Just enough of the kitchen amenities to prepare just about any meal. Close to the beach for our twice daily beach walks. Just right for us!

A great getaway!

Very enjoyable place to spend time. My wife and I enjoyed the outdoor area in front of the house. You can hear the ocean and the neighbors are very nice. We enjoyed the location and Melanie is great to work with too!.

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Everything about this house was amazing. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the proximity to the beach?!? Are you kidding me? It’s a 2 minute walk from the front door to your toes in the sand. We hope to stay here many many more times.

GREAT location and beautiful home

This house was great for our family. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen had been recently remodeled. Great location close to public access. The double doors that opened up to the patio made it great for indoor outdoor living. Would 100% stay here again.

Beach Get Away

Loved the house! Mostly the front patio and fire pit. Used it quite a bit. Friends could stop by and sit out there with us. House had lots of supplies, even though I brought my own stuff not knowing. Shampoos, soaps, ziplocks, foil etc supplied. House had lots and lots of stuff for children if you are bringing them. Very easy, 3 minute walk to beach. If you don't know the area, you have to walk down about 15 steps to get there. About a 12-15 minute walk town which we did a few times. Highly recommend this house. We have are staying there again next summer.

Wonderful & Relaxing Stay!

This was our first VRBO experience, and we were so impressed with the cleanliness and location of this home. Everything was just as described in the listing, and the location to the beach was exceptional! This was such a a fun week for our family that we are sure to be back!

Pet friendly close to the beach.

Thank you for a great stay. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood just steps from the beach. Very clean and well equipped. The third room off of the kitchen (utility room) was fine for my son. The pull down Murphy bed had a full size comfortable mattress. Pet friendly. Great communication with host. Would definitely stay here again.

Retirement Getaway

We went to Cayucos for a friend's retirement from teaching. The location of the property is ideal. The beach is right at the end of the street. The house is modernized with beautiful bathrooms and an upgraded kitchen. The area is very sleepy and quiet which is what we wanted. The master bedroom is big with a King size bed and a lovely bathroom with a separate freestanding tub and then a walk in shower. The second bedroom is also nice with a queen size bed and the second bathroom is also updated and nice. The bummer was the third bedroom which I wouldn't really categorize as a bedroom. It's more like a service porch or closet off the kitchen. It only has a murphy bed which we were not expecting. It would be a fine space to put kids in, but we were a little disappointed with three grown adults with one of them having that as a bedroom. There's a big tv with Netflix which was great. The town of Cayucos is close to Morro Bay, Cambria and the wineries off the 46 in Paso Robles making it a convenient spot to visit all those places in the same visit. I would recommend this property but just be aware of that third "bedroom".

Great Beach House!

Very nice property, clean and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Laid back, friendly neighborhood. Two minute walk to the public access stairs for the beach. Perfect communication with owner/property manager. We had a wonderful time, thanks again!

My father in-law built this home in the 1960's. My husband grew up coming to Cayucos as a child and our three children spent many of there childhood summers here with me while there father would spend weekends with us. It has truly changed very little in 60 years which is one of the best things about Cayucos. Very safe. I still spend alot of time between here and the bay area which is where I live, only now I find myself here alone more but love it as much as ever.

The cottage is on a very quiet friendly block with long term family owned homes. many friendly full time resident. You get a more authentic central coast vibe who get up and go to work makeing for a quiet days in the neiborhood and great place to take walks. Beach access is a 3 minute walk from the front door where your dog is welcome

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Recently remodeled it is modern on the inside without sacrificing the cottage lookon the out side. great evening gathering spot with the family around the outdoor fire, roasting marshmallows and talking about the fun that was had by all.
