The space

When you enter the cabin (Silvia) with your smart lock passcode you will see beautiful, custom, wood, cabinetry that was meticulously crafted by the previous owner who was an expert cabinet maker. This is evident in the private screened in porch with plenty of seating, and a table with chairs for eating. You will find that the design of the cottage is extremely thoughtful and intuitive. We have taken that to the next level by modernizing the space with amenities and entertainment for adults and and kids of all ages. It’s fun inside and out.

The ~550 sq ft air conditioned/heated space consists of 1 lockable bedroom with a brand new 14” plush memory foam mattress, new bed frame and custom headboard. Two new lighting sconces with USB ports for charging all your devices, dresser, and Roku smart LED bulbs throughout. there are wall-mounted phone holders next to each side of the bed. The main living room has a custom bar with glassware, futon couch, brand new wall mounted 50” Roku LED TV with Roku Soundbar pro. It all operates on one easy remote and you can stream beautiful dolby quality music through the soundbar from your devices. Even better is the roku remote allows you to plug in headphones if you dont want to disturb others late night! My 6 year old can operate this whole system, its awesome. There are plenty of cozy blankets and storage. From the living room you can see a ladder to 2 bed loft with an extra hangout area. There is a brand new Roku TV in the loft for extra entertainment. Our secure Wi-Fi system is an Orbi mesh network with blazing fast high speed internet for working remotely or using many devices.

Next to the living room is a Dining Room table with 4 chairs and a large table for meals or games. Additionally, there is a private lockable bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity, and exhaust fan. Next to the bathroom door is a beautiful storage cabinet with plenty of board games, cards, poker chips etc. As you walk through the cottage, you will see the kitchen cooking area and prep space with a two burner grill and large cutting board with sink on opposite side. It is a fully stocked kitchen with spices, oils, and cutlery. A few steps farther around the corner is the full size fridge and microwave as well as additional custom breakfast bar seating with 2 stools looking directly at the lake for enjoying your morning coffee or a meal for 2. There is a side porch door to the deck if you would prefer to take your coffee and breakfast outside to enjoy beautiful Mirror lake. The deck has brand new patio furniture. Then make your way down to the kayaks and paddleboard for a relaxing time on the serene lake. It is not uncommon to hear the Loons, turtles, spot a fox, osprey, or see a Bald Eagle circling the lake. Our propane gas grill is located just in front of the deck.

These are lakeside cottages that have shared outdoor space including a massive fire pit with Adirondack seating. We have provided the fire permit for you! Fire-pit boasts an amazing view of the lake and mountains. Please be courteous and clean up after yourself. This is north country, and there are animals. We don’t want to attract them if at all possible.

We also provide all quality linens, towels, beach towels, and bedding… all you have to do is get up here!

Lake Activities: 2 kayaks and paddles are provided by us for you to enjoy. There is also a shared canoe as well as fishing rods. The lake has a dock and a floating raft you can swim to. The water is extremely warm as Mirror lake isn’t a very deep lake. Anglers will enjoy almost a dozen species of fish! We caught some nice bullhead catfish at night just last week (9/5/23). Grab worms at the gas station in town and grab one of out rods!

FIRE PIT RULES: We have purchased a fire permit for your use while staying with us which is valid thru 12/2023. Please use the designated fire pit area in the center of the grounds for your fires and smoking. It is a very large fire pit with chairs around it. No other area is designated for fires including the sitting area (Garden with Adirondack chairs) next to our cottage 6 (we also own and rent this cottage). Wood only, no charcoal briquettes, and fires cannot be left unattended and must be fully extinguished after use. We keep an extra bucket in the cabin labeled for putting out your fire. Please do not throw glass into the fire. This fire pit is the only area where open flames are allowed including smoking per the fire Marshall of NH. **Please clean up after yourself for the next person or group, we do not have a groundskeeper for fire-pit clean up. We also do not want to attract animals. Have a good time, but no raging parties please. This is a retreat for you to enjoy… be courteous of others. Thank you Thanks!
Other things to note
2 Parking Spots included. Please park parallel in front of Unit 8 (cars in straight line front to back).

The low cleaning fee is designed for you to come and enjoy the unit without having to bring your own sheets or anything. In order to do so, we ask that you take the trash up whenever possible to the dumpster on the way out by the motels. This makes it easier for our cleaning crew to clean the unit and provide 5 star experience to guests like yourself. Make yourself at home but please treat the unit like you would your own space. The cleaning fee does not include cleaning up after fire pit or stuff/trash being left on public grounds. It is strictly for cabin.

Dogs are now allowed year-round. Yay! Please message us before booking with your pup. Dogs are considered on a case-by-case basis. According to Association rules, for the safety and enjoyment of all owners and guests, one dog per unit is permitted on the property and must be registered with the Association before booking confirmation. As this is shared property, and to avoid confusion, we kindly request advance notice of service dogs. Dogs must be leashed on the property at all times, and pet messes must be cleaned up promptly. Failure to follow association rules will result in fines and/or removal from the property without refund
