Beautiful Rustic 2 BDR Home in SE Tucson/Corona De Tucson

This unique home has a warmth and hominess that goes with all the richness and color of the southwest. Located at the base of the Santa Rita Mountains is a peaceful little Tucson suburb with a laid-back vibe. The elevation is slightly higher down here where most winters we get a quaint amount of snow. Here, you are located central to places you may want to explore while visiting Tucson’s beautiful Southwest region! Our beautiful desert is incredibly diverse with an abundance of plant and animal life. A hikers dream, with hundreds of scenic hiking trails! Saguaro National Park East is only 18 miles north with some of Tucson’s best! Or, take a scenic drive through the rolling hills south to Sonoita’s wineries, only a 40 minute drive from our home. Nearby Sonoita, is Patagonia Lake, which is also a popular destination. Not only for enjoying year-round fishing, but hosts one of Arizonas best locations for bird watching! Take a day trip down to historic Tombstone where the infamous O.K. Corral shootout in 1881 took place! And from there, a short 20min drive will bring you to the historic mining town of Bisbee. A great spot for walking through the towns streets for shopping and dining. About our home: Our home is in a safe tightnit neighborhood with plenty of parking. Security cameras are located at the front entrance of the house and at the side gate entrance to the backyard. Our spacious kitchen has all the amenities you need for cooking and dining in. The private outdoor living space is lively quaint, nicely shaded, and great for enjoying time outside. Equipped with a dining table for four, gas grill, nicely appointed deck for lounging, and a lovely landscaped yard. The large master suite has a king size bed, walk-in closet with a full size dresser, flatscreen TV, and private bath with walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a designated work space and flatscreen TV. The guest bath is just down the hall and is equipped with a shower and bathtub. Adjacent to the laundry room you’ll have access to our garage which has been converted to a gym! It’s an additional fun space with a shuffle board, couch, and flatscreen TV as well. And the living room area welcomes you right in with its lovely charm and eclectic character. There’s plenty of comfortable seating and is great for movie night or reading a book from our library. Come visit our private home that has a warmth and calming energy I'm sure you’ll love!

Great location for a base to explore the Tucson area. We loved coming home each day to this cool little oasis and sitting in the evening watching the sunset for the cozy backyard. Joyce was very attentive and we had everything we needed. Especially appreciated the coffee beans for the week! Nice treat!

The home is beautiful inside. Very comfortable. The backyard is gorgeous and just a lovely place to relax. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, including a Nutribullet, which we loved. Bedrooms and beds were wonderful.

I enjoyed the bottle of wine that welcomed us. A unique feature was the weights and workout equipment. I usedi them several times. The king bed in the master bedroom was OUTSTANDING! I slept like a baby! The outside cloister was very Zen.

Staying at Joyce's house was a real joy! Clean,organized and super comfortable. Beautifully decorated with everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The kitchen was a joy to prepare meals in and the courtyard off the kitchen in the back was peaceful,complete with a water feature. Joyce was a wonderful,respectful host. The neighborhood has a suburb feel,quiet yet close to rural spaces so we often heard coyotes yipping and the sky dark enough to see brilliant stars. A lovely experience in every way.

Sadly, we have moved on to another home more convenient to school, but we are grateful that we have the opportunity to share our space as we just couldn't part with letting it go. So, we decided to offer our home for others to enjoy while we venture onto new places and paths in life. It's a place we'll always call home!

Living in Corona De Tucson provided a safe and quiet place to raise my kids without being too far from the city. It's cleaner and brighter at night and I never felt unsafe here.
