Including a stunning riverfront view, this home’s gorgeous outdoor living space is adorned with a private hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, and ample seating sure to inspire fun and unforgettable memories. Grill up a delicious meal while everyone gathers for table tennis and laughs. When the sun sets, indulge in a glass of wine and rejuvenating riverside soak in the hot tub. The deluxe kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and spacious island seating making food preparation or gathering for board games a breeze. Each beautifully designed bedroom includes a television, plush linens, and additional pillows for added comfort. After a full day of adventure, snuggle up by the fireplace and rest easy, knowing another wonderful day of vacation awaits.

My husband, lab and I really enjoyed our stay to see the leaves. The house was beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed the beautiful backyard on the river with firepit and hot tub. Only drawback is the traffic noise on 105 and busy traffic on Church Rd.

Such a wonderful property. It is super convenient and easy to get to and from a main highway which gives you access to lots of activities like Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and Boone. The house itself is incredible; the hot tub, shuffleboard, ping pong table and firepit provided hours of entertainment. My kids loved playing in the creek as well. All appliances and furniture were high quality, clean and new. Can't wait to come back!

Great mountain getaway

The house is in a great location, close to the main road, in the middle of anywhere you would want to go whether that is Blowing Rock, Boone, or Banner Elk. Very nice home with lovely decor and furniture. The view of the river was amazing! We would stay here again.

Convenient and comfortable

This has been the cleanest house we have rented from anywhere so we were very happy. Everything worked properly, was spacious, and even though it’s on a slightly busier road, once you are in the backyard, it feels so private. The location was very convenient too.

Gorgeous home

This is a gorgeous home and very well set up for an extended stay. Everything in the home appears to be new and clean. There is a very nice outdoor space overlooking a creek. We look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful Setting - Fly fishing in the backyard

I caught a wild rainbow trout in the Watauga River while my morning coffee rested just feet away by the fire pit. Home needs mattress upgrades for both king beds, otherwise a very beautiful home, very well appointed.

Beautiful gem!

The house was absolutely lovely! Everything was exactly as pictured. The backyard was heaven for my kids. The heated bathroom floors were amazing. Well stocked kitchen with good quality cookware. They provided extra towels for the hot tub. We had such a great experience and would happily stay here again!

A dream stay!

This house was perfect in every way. The location gave us easy access to great hiking and felt like its own little hideaway with the backyard setup - the idyllic creek backdrop was beautiful and a perfect spot for fires around the fire pit and an evening in the hot tub. The house itself was so clean and had all the right touches - comfy seating for a family movie night, shuffleboard, ping pong and bag toss for family activities - not to mention the comfortable beds and enough space for everyone to retreat to. Thank you for the perfect setting for our annual family trip!

Great spot to stay

The parking situation is easy and flat and near a main road. The house itself is lovely. The main bathroom has heated floors which is cool. And a mirror that has a little defogger on it. It's nice. The beds are the size they are supposed to be which isn't always the case with house rentals. The grounds are lovely. They got little wifi things all over the house so signal is great. The stove works great. The fridge is good and the freezer keeps food very very cold. There are enough pots and pans in the kitchen to get by. More than enough cups and bowls and plates. Overall a really good stay, would do it again.

Fabulous stay at River Rock cottage

The home was absolutely gorgeous!! And clean! We felt right at home. The beds were comfy, we were spoiled by the heated tiles in the bathrooms, and the kitchen was well stocked. I appreciated the towels and sheets weren’t heavily perfumed from detergent! We used the high end kitchen and grill and everything was great. We considered renting a home with a view of the mountain range but ultimately chose this home bc of the amenities for our family. We are so glad we did. We have 3 kids and they didn’t want to leave. The little shuffle board at the front of the home was perfect in the rain. We were spoiled by watching the tv from the hot tub each night. The fire pit was very enjoyable as was the deck area overlooking the creek. We spent hours in the creek and made so many memories in nature. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again!!
