Esta casa frente al mar recientemente renovada durante todo el año se encuentra en una cala tranquila con 100 pies de frente al lago. La casa ofrece una sensación de tranquilidad y privacidad, a la vez que tiene el lago y lo mejor de la naturaleza a su alcance. Esta casa del lago se encuentra a 5 minutos en coche de la popular zona de esquí de Okemo ya 25 minutos de Killington.

El nivel principal es un diseño de planta abierta / plano de planta con techos abovedados, lo que le da una sensación de chalet, y es el corazón de esta acogedora casa de campo. Hay amplias habitaciones en 2 niveles y una gran sala de juegos, por lo que es ideal para familias y momentos divertidos.

Múltiples cubiertas ofrecen espectaculares vistas del agua y la montaña, esencialmente Vermont, para cada temporada. El amplio dormitorio principal ofrece una cama king-size y una chimenea de piedra (propano). El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio con instalaciones de lavandería convenientemente escondidas. El nivel principal también tiene un tercer dormitorio con una litera y un baño completo, ideal para niños y familias. El segundo nivel es un loft amplio y amueblado con 2 camas grandes.

En el nivel inferior, hay una gran sala de juegos y una plataforma de salida, lista para sumergirse en el atractivo borde de las aguas. La sala de juegos cuenta con una mesa de billar / air hockey (2 en 1) y una estufa de leña encantadora y reconfortante, perfecta en invierno después de un día de ir a las pistas. Este nivel también cuenta con un baño de estilo moderno recientemente renovado con cabina de ducha de vidrio.

La casa cuenta con 2 kayaks, 1 tabla de paddle, 1 canoa y 1 bote de remos.

Great Stay

This is a terrific property. The location can't be beat -- best spot on the lake -- and the rental comes with all kinds of water toys so you can REALLY enjoy the lake. The owner is incredibly responsive and I would rent from him again. I should also note the kitchen is very well stocked -- unlike so many VRBOs you don't have to buy every little thing like salt and pepper. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfection

We just got back from a week at Lake Rescue staying in this terrific house. The pictures represent the property very well, the kitchen was stocked better than most rentals (we cooked every night), and the location can’t be beat. Terrific communication with the owner. We spent every day playing on the lake and ate our meals on the incredible deck. One of our favorite rentals of all time. We can’t wait to go back!

A fun time on beautiful Lake Rescue

We had a great time going out on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. Across the lake we stopped for maple creemees. The kitchen is a little dated so we cooked quite a bit less than we planned. But between a few of our favorite Ludlow spots (Goodman's and The Hatchery) and all the breweries further afield, we did just fine. Vermont can be pretty stifling when a heat wave hits, but the window fans in the kids' bedrooms made it pleasant at night. The game room in the basement came in handy when we were hanging at the house.

Tranquility

A fabulous house in an absolutely gorgeous location. If you’re looking for some serious down-time this is the place to be. We came for the skiing and stayed longer than originally planned for the relaxation. The main room is perfect for hanging out and just soaking in the view. The kitchen is fully stocked so cooking is easy. The master bedroom is a haven of tranquillity with a fireplace and a kingside bed. We’re planning to return at a different time of the year so we can make use of the kayaks on the lake. The owners are very responsive which was much appreciated. All-in-all a wonderful place to stay.

Great house, close to okemo! Cozy and clean. When we had a question, Owner responded to us quickly over the holiday. Definitely would suggest a 4 wheel drive to get down the road to the house!

Wonderful lakehouse

We (six adults) had a wonderful weeklong trip at this lakehouse. The views of the lake are truly spectacular and the entire neighborhood was gorgeous with fall foliage in full bloom. The house was spacious and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen in an open floor plan with a large dining table and comfortable living room. Plenty of space for several of us to work remotely as well. Guests should note that there is one restroom on the main level (along with three bedrooms) and one restroom on the lower level (with the game room). There is no restroom on the upper level with the loft bedroom. This required a bit of shuttling around, but this would not keep us from returning to this beautiful home. Thank you Amit!

Relaxation personified

Our second summer stay at this fantastic home. Wonderful experience. Home is “ON” the lake. Very clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable. Quiet part of the lake, perfect for the kayak and paddle board. 10 mins to town. Could not have had a better time as a family. This is a place to make great memories. Our host provides great communication and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful Inside and Out

Our family of 6, with kids ages 9-23, loved our week at this home on the lake. We had plenty of space to gather and play games or to find our own corners to read and restore. Getting out on the water was our favorite, and we loved having use of the SUP, kayaks, and canoe. Amit is a kind and thoughtful host, and the house is full of great touches (games, books, etc.) that made our week both relaxing and memorable.

Bring fishing poles!

This place was perfect for a getaway where we never needed to leave the house. The lake is beautiful. We used the paddle board and kayaks at the house every day. An eagle nests on the lake just around the corner from the house past the little island with lean-to on top. Fishing right off the dock was awesome. We caught pumpkin seeds, bass, pearch, and a really cool stick! Bring nightcrawlers. The fish are picky about bait. The house is super comfortable and Amit is quick to respond. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful relaxing lakefront home

Our adult children joined us at this beautiful lakefront home. Waking up to the lake was relaxing and the perfect getaway. The house was clean and inviting and the hosts thought of everything to make us welcome and comfortable.

Great Lake Getaway

Our family (4 people) and family friends with kids (4) stayed for 5 days. The house was well cleaned, easy to find and access, and in a nice spot on the lake. The kids (ages 11 - 13) loved the pool table/air hockey/game room. We all used the stand up paddle board, kayaks, and canoes. The lake is beautiful with warm water and an easy entry from the house's property. There are neighbors close by and a great ice cream place nearby. We'd enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place for families.

Winter wonderland

Four adults and four kids had a memory-making stay here this February break. The house was roomy enough for us to all have some space, while also providing good spots to come together for meals and games. Our crew split time between Okemo (both the downhill and Nordic centers) and Killington. It was very easy to get to both areas. The grocery store in Ludlow was convenient for making food at home, although we did also have a good meal in town. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake in a whole new way!

Second visit - perfect again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property again - this time during peak foliage. Everything was perfectly 'in order' and the place and views are wonderful. We had one question and the owner was responsive and helpful. We'd visit again for sure!

Wonderful property, wonderful owner.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house. Amit was incredibly responsive and helpful with our questions and in the check-in process. Everything in the home was in great shape and full working order (there was no need to contact him during the week because everything was ship-shape). The location is beautiful, the home is well maintained, and the "extras" (kayaks, paddle board, pool/air hockey, internet/entertainment and games/puzzle,) made the trip fun and special for the whole family (2 adults, 2 tweens). We will look forward to a return trip when we are able!

The perfect location for a perfect lake vacation

Possibly the most relaxed my family has ever been. The perfect location that’s literally “on the water”. Very clean home with a deceiving large amount sleeping options and the view....oh the view from the main level. Nice quiet neighbors and lots to do on the lake. Kayak, canoe or paddle board. Only a short drive to town and restaurants. We loved the home/location and view so much that we ended up eating at home most of the time Overall great experience and the owner made us feel welcome and communication was great. We can’t get back soon enough. Thank you Amit!!

Great lake house for a family vacation

Beautiful lake views! We saw a bald eagle fly down and grab a fish while we were having coffee and again when having lunch on the big deck. Bring your rods if you like to fish! We took the canoe, small row boat and kayaks out to fish and caught Sunny’s, perch, rock bass, small mouth and large mouth bass. The big assortment of games, puzzles and the pool table kept us busy during the rainy and overcast days. We hiked the short Okemo mountain fire tower trail with a 4 and 6 year old and they loved it. The views were amazing! It’s a perfect getaway for a family vacation. Lots of space and super. clean. There is a fire pit with wood to use as well. We have all ready booked for next year!

Relaxing and Enjoyable week

The property was clean and spacious. It offered everything we were looking for in a vacation get away. We swam, floated, paddled, and just plain sat and took in the tranquility and nature. Great place for a family get together. I would strongly recommend Lumbini.

Lovely lakefront property

We just returned from our week and had a great time! There is plenty of room, many bedrooms and a great game room downstairs. Kayaks, a canoe, a row boat and a paddle board kept us out on the lake. You may chase the sun around the property a bit, but the shade is a nice relief. There is no AC, except for. Unit in the master bedroom. There are plenty of fans. A great washer and dryer made throwing in a load of clothes easy. Head over to the Buttermilk waterfall, it is beautiful and a very quick drive. We were lucky to be there for the 4th of July. The neighbors put on a great fireworks show!

Great home for a family vacation!

My family and I spent our Christmas vacation week at this lovely home in Vermont. The home was clean and the kitchen well equiped to cook large meals. The beds were comfortably and there is ample room for everyone to spread out. The home is in a perfect location close to Okemo mountain and shopping in town. The owners are attentive and provided all the information needed to make our stay comfortable. Great home, we plan on coming back!

Great lake house!

Our family enjoyed our month on the lake so much. Having coffee on the balcony in the morning, enjoying the peace and beauty of the lake, listening to the calls of the pair of loons on the water, fishing on the pier, canoeing, kayaking, barbecuing out on the spacious deck, making s'mores by the campfire at night: are just some of the many memories we bring home with us.

Great Location on Lake Rescue for a Family Vacation.

It is a beautiful home on the lake. Slept eight people very comfortably. Would highly recommend Amat's home to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place on a very special lake. we saw eagles catching fish, loons calling out everyday. Also the fishing is great caught plenty of bass, perch and sunnies. Make sure you get your fishing licence the boat ramp is close by so the wardens are around the area.
