Dirty and damp and thermostat wasn’t functional

It had an odor upon arrival and dust on surfaces. Stained pillows/sheets didn’t fit. Owner didn’t know how to operate smart thermostat and on day 5 offered to let me move to another property. Climbed 3 flighrs of stairs with tons of luggage so it wasn’t an option. Broken items under sinks and potted plant that was dead and roots coming out of planter was focal point. It was my birthday and it was RUINED by accommodations that didn’t warrant 1/2 of what was paid. I asked for vacation week at one of the other accommodations to make up for awful experience. Will update here and on other review sites. Await hosts response.

Beautiful community

We’ve stayed in this community before and it’s very nice. This unit is conveniently located across the street from the pool, so you’re there in a few steps when you go out. It was clean in general, but there was visible dust and powder under the beds and on the coffee table. Beds were comfortable. Lots of linens and towels available. Could use a few games for the rainy days. Dryer took 2 full cycles on high to dry our clothes. Some chairs from photos were missing from the balcony so you’ll have to pull some of the dining room chairs if more than two people want to sit outside at once. Not the biggest deal, but more seating was shown in the photos. We arrived on time since our flight came in early, but had to wait until 4:15 or so to get into the condo because it was still being cleaned. It’s a comfortable place to sleep and lounge overall.

Stressed out vacation condo

This is a nice and quiet condominium. However it was a real let down . We expected it to be immaculate due to the additional fees especially for cleaning . However , we arrived to a condominium that showed its wear and tear. In addition bed comforters and pillows were worn and stained in the 2 bedrooms being utilized by us. We informed management who changed one of the 2 comforters and gave us 2 new pillows, but left the stained pillows. So, I did give a 1 star for management’s efforts. The icing on the cake was the fire detector which beeped through the night and batteries were never changed during our stay. I left the condo stressed and put out during my vacation as well as completely embarrassed by its condition.

Just like the pictures!

I loved the community this rental was in. It truly felt like a getaway and the space looked just like the pictures. Communication with the property owner was easy and they responded quickly. I could tell they truly wanted me to have a great stay. I highly recommend :)

Due to winter weather and scheduled maintenance, the North Tower Pool will be temporarily closed beginning January 22 through March 15. The initial closure is necessary to protect the facility during freezing temperatures, followed by planned repairs and upgrades. If reopening dates change, updates will be provided. Thank you for your understanding while these improvements are completed.

Pool Notice: The North Tower Pool at Barefoot Resort is currently closed for extended repairs and is expected to remain closed through March 31, 2026. By booking, guests acknowledge that this pool amenity is unavailable during this time.
