Nice getaway close to the south side

Everything was clean and great. It was pretty close to the south side and downtown. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good stay

Host was good at communication and accommodated things we needed. Quiet neighborhood and could park in front. Central location and close to downtown. Bedrooms had plenty of room!

Convenient and clean

Owner was extremely communicative throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was clean and the location of the apartment was perfect. Less than a 30min trip to everything we wanted to see. If I ever wind up in Pittsburgh again, I would definitely stay again!

Don’t let the looks fool you.

In an older neighborhood but very safe, very nice and very clean on the inside. Beds were comfy and neighbors pleasant. Parked and Uber’d to a concert and back. Very reasonable and owner was flexible with our arrival time. Will definitely do again if the opportunity arises.

Quiet neighborhood, easy to navigate around area. We felt safe during our stay. The apt. itself was spacious, clean and very nicely furnished. Otis, the host was professional and courteous. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.

Short stay

Property was clean and close to the stadium where we were attending a concert. Plenty of room to park! Otis was great! Answered any questions. We had everything we needed. He even pre stocked the fridge with some goodies! I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Stay for a quick trip

Check in process was easy. Owner was communicative and friendly. Property was clean. Beds were comfy. You do have to use stairs to get to the apartment, wasn’t and issue for us but may not be ideal for anyone who struggles with stairs. Location was about 10-15 minutes from downtown, the strip district and Carson st. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

It could be better

Communication with the host was good; however, before arriving we were told to use the downstairs unit instead of the one we booked upstairs.The unit was fine, the kitchen was small with very limited plates, cookware and utensils. The days we stayed were particularly cold and we froze the first night. The host turned the central heat the second day, but it would have been nice to hace a space heater. The location was very good, very close to downtown and Pittsburgh attractions.

The main living areas are clean enough but the bathroom and main bedrooms doors are unable to close. There was no pillows on the guest bed, instead there was throw pillows. There was 3 toilet paper rolls that were all so low I used each once and was out of TP. Overall if you had to travel on a budget this might be an option but i wish i had spent another 10-20 a night on a different host for a better experience.

Spacious and Clean great to visit Pitt

I had a great stay at this property! The house was really big and very clean, which made it a comfortable place to relax. The neighborhood was also very nice and quiet, with friendly neighbors, which added to the experience. A special mention to Otis, the host—he was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was taken care of throughout my stay. His attention to detail really enhanced the overall experience. One thing to keep in mind is that the local buses don't pass frequently, which seems to be a common issue in Pittsburgh. If you're relying on public transportation, it’s a bit inconvenient, especially if you need to get to the North Side. However, if you have a car, this place is perfect! It's a great location with plenty of space and comfort.

Needs more work

The property is in process. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms were o.k. More remodeling is needed. The sink in the bathroom is too small, the shower head didn't work correctly the paint on the tub was falling off. There was a window on the bottom floor that needs replaced. Also, the blinds don't go up and down.

Enjoyed our stay/Lots of value

Had a great experience staying at this value packed, spacious unit in the heart of a working class Pittsburgh neighborhood. Unbelievable value for the money. Lots of natural light in this vintage brick building. Second floor. Plenty of parking and friendly neighbors. Recently upgraded. If you are looking for a top end luxury hotel, this is not it. If you are looking for a very nice, bright, spacious 2 BR apartment at an unbelievably good price, then you're like us. Will be back. We actually extended a few days because of the value, and Otis was very accommodating and helpful. Take out pizza and McDonald's within easy walking distance. Will definitely stay here next time we're in Pittsburgh.

Otis was super friendly and communicative from booking to checkout. The property was great for what we needed (2 adults) but prepare to bring your own entertainment if you have children or multiple people as the television was located in the bedroom rather than the living room. The natural light was amazing and the space has all other amenities you could need. It is reasonably close to downtown and has plenty of local pizza places nearby as well as McDonald's. The property was very clean. We did have to use broken/uneven steps to get to the property so that is something to be aware of depending on your needs. Parking was easy to access right next to the property. There is a possibility of other patrons being in the other areas of the property so if you are looking for a quiet, undisturbed stay, you may want to reconsider this location.
