As the name suggests, this Ellijay cabin is as beary dear place. Nestled near the Coosawattee River, A Beary Deer Place boasts access to a shared recreation center with a pool, basketball court, tennis court, 18-hole mini golf, and workout center. When you aren't utilizing these marvelous amenities, check out nearby Gilmer County Parks, Whitepath Golf Club, and Tumbling Waters Trail.

Back at your stay, enjoy the peace and quiet of Georgia's vast wilderness from the covered front porch. Inside, you'll immediately notice the cabin's bohemian finishes, bright pops of color, and warm wood finishes. The cozy living room is kept warm thanks to the stone-lined fireplace. Settle down on the leather sofas as you tune into your favorite TV show or movie. Steps from here, the well-equipped kitchen boasts a full suite of updated appliances and gleaming countertops. When it's time to eat, gather around the lovely dining table for a family-style meal.

When you aren't enjoying the bedroom's plush linens and carefully curated decorations, check out the family room where a mini fridge and microwave await family movie nights filled with popcorn. A private washer/dryer, central air-conditioning, and board games round out the interior amenities.

Outside, listen to the birds chirp and the trees sway from one of the balconies. Here you can sit and sip on an Adirondack chair, soak in the hot tub, dine alfresco, and gather around the fire table.

The resort has updated how guests gain access to the amenities on site. The guest will be responsible for purchasing amenity passes at the POA office. Monday-Saturday 9 am- 5 pm. Amenity passes are $59 per card. Each card allows 4 guests to use the amenities during the reservation dates. The POA only takes checks or money orders for payments.

The outdoor pools are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day only.

Fireplaces are operable from October 1st – April 15th only.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
