Great place to be!

Having on property access to the beach was great! The pools were a great asset for the children. We ate at two places on the island. Ordered in pizza on other nights. Time on the beach was even better with the rental of chairs and umbrella. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend many hours on the beach. The aquarium was a good adventure too.

Very Nice condo but could use some cleaning

The condo is in a very nice location, it’s 2 minutes from fee different restaurants and shops. The only thing I’d have to complain about was the cleanliness. The sheets had stains on them and the floor did not feel like it had been cleaned it had sand all over it. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyable Stay

The stay was very nice, the walk to the beach was a bit too long but we managed. We did have issues with getting into our room upon check-in but the manager came and rectified the issue within 20 minutes of calling. The only negative thing I will say was the television in the bedroom would not work- an odd screen kept popping up so we weren't able to watch anything on it.

Great Location and Beautiful View

The place was clean and had a great view of the ocean. My only suggestion is to send the email saying what you need to bring a few days before instead of the day you arrive. We had to make an unexpected stop to get more TP, trash bags, paper towels, and dish soap.

quiet getaway

Perfect location to escape the hustle and bustle of a typical beach destination. The condo was clean, with a well stocked kitchen, ample space for us. We enjoyed the ocean view. Nice boardwalk to the beach. The local bike rental business delivered and picked up from the condo. With a paved bike path the entire length of the island the bikes were our transportation for several days. We enjoyed the "non chain" businesses. Ferry ride, Sea Lab aquarium and inland trip to Belligrath gardens added to the enjoyment.

Nice condo just not clean there was sand and dust everywhere. That would have been ok if there was something to clean it but all i could find was a broom and that just didn't work. It was myself and my 2 children and it was not comfortable for us. The sofa was so uncomfortable and the bed was worse. It is perfect if you have beautiful days and don't have to spend the day inside. Not a horrible place to stay just not for us.Booking process was amazing.

Loved it!

This was my first time visiting Dauphin Island and I absolutely loved it!! It wasn’t too crowded or busy and this condo was close to all of the shops and restaurants. There aren’t a lot of restaurants there, but the ones that are there have good food. Be sure to stop at a Walmart before you get there because there isn’t one close. My condo was exactly as described and was perfect for me and my husband. Our check in was super easy, and we didn’t have any issues the whole time we were there. The view was nice and the short walk to the beach was great!! I will definitely be back!

The unit is a small condo suitable that worked well for two travelers. There is one bedroom with a queen bed, and there is a set of bunk beds in the hallway that could be used by small children. The kitchen is well equipped and suitable for preparing full meals. The unit has a private balcony with an unobstructed view of the gulf, although it is too far away to hear the sound of the water and waves. Beach access is via a wood walkway and a trek through the dunes, and it is quite a hike to get to the water. There are two pools for the condo building, which received a lot of use by families staying in other units. Arrival and departure are facilitated by convenient elevators and numerous carts available in the lobby.

We first stayed in 2009 and fell in love with the place, so we decided to come back in 2015. The island is perfect for those who want away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our kids loved finding huge seashells and crab hunting. The condo was perfect. It was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The property management staff was very friendly and helpful. We love it here and will be back!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pay attention to the pictures and zoom in. We rented the unit in 2/2024, since then both of us had accidents. My husband required a walker. It difficult to maneuver the walker inside the unit. The small glass table in the enter is an accident waiting to happen, esp with a small child or someone with balance issues. There is one bath tub, it can only be described as a soaker tub. I’m 5’7” and the tub was 2 inches above my knee, for someone with hip issues, it was very hard to get up into with only one very small hand rail that was above my shoulder. They provided 4 bath towels for a 6 person unit, there was more wash towels. You have to walk down a flight of stairs to take out the trash. The TV in the bedroom is so old that the cable box could not be connected to it. We drove all the way back to Walmart to buy a HDMI to AV convert. A google search said it was from the early 2000’s. Neither remote provided could control the volume. The refrigerator leaked water from the freezer to the bottom and the rack in the freezer appeared rusted. It needs a deep cleaning as there was dust everywhere up high, the ceiling Fans and the closet door to the HVAC unit. It was clean, there were plenty of kitchen appliances and cookers. And if I wanted to do laundry of any sort, I would have stayed home. If you have any walking issues, and want to walk on the beach, find something much closer to the water. It is beachfront with a nice view, but it is commitment to get to the beach and back. Go on down to the west end and rent a house! Overpriced. Not our best vacation!
