The house was very clean, the game room was great for entertainment especially the pool table. I will say the refrigerator in the garage had a smell to it but it wasn’t as strong unless you were next to it. But overall it was a great experience and liked how close grocery stores and fast food were near the house.

Convenient Location to UNR

The house is conveniently located close to UNR and downtown Reno. The rooms were clean & tidy, and the kids loved the added bonus of a game room.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! HORRIBLE OWNER!!!I just wish I could give ZERO or negative stars, because that’s what this experience deserved!Experience:We booked one night. The owner sent instructions and confirmed our stay. Check in for 4:30 pm set. Showed up at 10 pm after 14 hours traveling from Rexburg Idaho with 3 kids, my wife, and our 2 dogs, to find a family already booked and staying there!!We called George, the owner. Twice. No answer.Texted George. No answer. Texted again. And again. He finally answered after 20 minutes with:“For some reason on my ended there is showing a double booking not sure how this happen….Sorry for any inconvenience.”You can imagine how we felt. Exhausted, let down and now completely without a place to stay.And - the family currently staying there stated they were having a horrible experience too! Home was dirty, including filthy bedding, and pubes in the bathroom, and even a delayed check-in. They met the cleaner, who they said was clearly high on drugs.No hotel took our pets. Rather than dealing with VRBO, we drove through the night home to California.Thanks George for a horrible experience with VRBO!!

Great place to stay!

Cozy place. Downstairs game room was amazing. Great location. Very close to everything. Great communication with owner. I left a bag and was able to go back and grab it. Also, left my prescription glasses and owner sent them back to me. Highly recommend.

owner extremely responsive, good value

The house was as presented. Plenty of room, clean and kitchen had many amenities. There was minor glitch with getting access but that was due to VRBO not contacting me. When I reached the host himself he was very accessible and solved the issue immediately. There were tiny issues with minor repairs or attention to details that didn't cause problems, and the host again responded. I was very appreciative of his responsiveness.

Almost Perfect

Not too shabby of a property, however the issues that my group had are pretty big. The house never cooled down below 78-80 degrees in the house. This made for uncomfortable nights and hot days. Also, the only bathroom in the house does not have a fan to move air out of it. With five bedrooms having a bath without a fan is unacceptable in my opinion.

First off, we told the owner that we were arriving late, there was no light on at the house, and we fumbled around trying to find the hidden key. Once we were in, we were shocked to see we only had access to half the house. The pictures of the bedrooms and game room were those that were the basement, which supposedly had someone living in... 5 adults and 1 kid had access to only 6 bath towels, with no wash cloths, no hand towels, no washing machine to clean anything, and only 1 dish towel for the 5 days that we were there. 1 bed had a partial futon mattress, one bed had a leg that kept breaking off, and the couch couldn't be sat in because the springs were busted. The flooring was coming apart in the kitchen, with huge gaps, and the house looked like it hadnt been cleaned, and was actively being lived in. I am usually not one to complain, but after 1 night there, our whole group was exploring options for hotels in the area. And when i brought up some of these issues to the owner, there was no action taken, and no remedies presented. Oh, one last thing, tried to take garbages out at one point, but the can outside was over flowing, and could accept no trash, like the garbage service had been missed for the week.

The game room wasn’t like the pictures. It was just all clumped together in the garage. Plus the fridge in the garage had black mold in it. There was also a leak under the kitchen sink. Then the house was not ready until almost 9pm when check in was at 4:30 but in Vrbo said 4. Lastly when trying to contact the owner at 6pm about the house not being done he didn’t respond until 1 am. Then came off dismissive. He offered no compensation for the mis communication. Only that we could check out at 2 instead of 10 and on Vrbo it says 11.
