Great beach access

First trip to the beach with the dog. Many places in the area very dog-friendly, hoping to bring her back in off-season when dogs are permitted on the beach. Accommodations were quaint with lots of character and perfect for sharing with our young-adult children.

Great Family Beach getaway

This property was spacious and clean — I could smell bleach cleaner when I first opened the door. The paint and floors could use a little freshening up but the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room. We had an issue with the washing machine during our stay and Bryant responded quickly to get it resolved

Great location but house needs repairs

Though the closeness to the beach was real good, we thought the house was in need of some upkeep and repair (ceiling in living room is peeling off, strong moldy smell and pretty much everything needs some paint). No mention that there is no dishwasher.

Surfer shack

This property is well located by Wrightsville’s south end surfing community by the Oceanic restaurant and pier. However, the unit needs some major renovations. And while the layout and room sizes are great, it’s hard to get by all the things that need fixing or replacing. No cleaning supplies or trash bags provided? Poorly stocked kitchen. Furniture is well worn and stained. Bed comfort: fair. Great place if you want to be close to the beach and good waves. Not so much for a family vacation.

Pretty good

Great location. We had some issues with the rental, from cleaning to linens to appliances, and while the property manager was quick to respond, some attention to the property prior to check in would have been better.

Beach trip

Took our dog with. It was a great property to bring a pet. Cozy, comfortable and lots of space! Quick walk to the beach, coffee house and restaurant! Stress free stay.

Great location, a bit dated

The house was very clean and In a great location it is an older property but it is well maintained.The outside could use a little bit of TLC for some curb appeal. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Duplex review upper unit

Generally, the unit is very dated and could use some much needed updates. The fenced in area for dogs looked much bigger in the picture than actual. Plus fence not safe and pets could easily get out. Would not recommend this unit at all

Winter Retreat

The location was excellent as it was close to the beach, Oceanic Restaurant and just minutes away from our son's home. It was very clean. We enjoyed time on the sunny porch.

2 day beach stay

House was ok, better on the outside than inside and it was close to the ocean and oceanic restaurant. The inside of the house was roomy but I could tell there had been previous Pets in the residence due to the cleanliness of the rugs. They were stained so we rolled them all up for our stay until we left. For the location I expected a little more. Did not like that we had to make our own beds when we arrived either. Not really a thing I wanted to do on a vacation. Also never got our email letting us know our itinerary, so when we arrived we didnt have passcode, couldnt get anyone to answer our calls to get help, luckily the information was in past emails so we could get in. Love the area but will not be going back to this vrbo. Thanks.

WB Getaway

The unit was clean & spacious although the A/C vents were black. There was concern that it could have been mold. Limited parking for the unit. During our stay, someone was moving into the downstairs unit. His moving van & vehicle occupied 3 of the 4 parking spaces. Location is great being close to the beach. The road was a little busy and getting in & out was challenging.

Great Location, walking distance to Sundays and Oceanic. Steps to the beach. Clean house, with amazing deck! Myself, my husband, and our English bull dog had an amazing stay. Will rent again!

Craft Upper Unit Review from 4/9-4/16

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The service provided by Bryant Realty was, for the most part, punctual, professional, and friendly. However, there was one instance that was not acceptable having to do with a scheduled visit from a pest control company. We were not asked if this was agreeable or convenient but instead received a "courtesy call" telling us this would be occurring at some point during the day. For a family on vacation with several small children (with nap times) this felt invasive. Having grown up at Wrightsville I do fully understand the need for pest control but this should be scheduled when the unit is not in use. The house on Sunset Ave. looks and feels like the older beach houses that I grew up with. The location is great and I would consider renting again solely because of the location. The owner of the house does need to step up and replace furniture that is damaged, blinds that are damaged and the hole in the wall in one bedroom should be repaired (also, the floors need a very thorough, deep cleaning). The kitchen equipment is adequate but piecemeal. The house rents for less than some of your other properties and amenities commensurate with the rental price point would be expected. Although this house may be considered a lower level rental, basic upkeep is not what it should be. So, I have given you a rundown of what I see as the shortcomings of the property but I will close by saying that our visit was pleasant overall. I hope you will excuse the delayed response, but we have been quite busy since returning home. If you have any questions please contact me.

Don't stay here!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Needs a ton of updating! The venetian blinds fell off the window when my significant other attempted to close them. The heat cut out in the middle of the night during an unusually cold spell- we woke up to the inside temperature of 60 degrees. We were only scheduled to stay for 2 nights but ended up checking out and leaving after the first night. The only positive was that it was close to the beach and several amenities, but I imagine that the traffic noise will be awful when the area gets busy in the warmer weather.

Needs work

The property looked good on the internet. The house needs major work. Rugs need to be replaced and blinds. Needs updated appliances. Need new TVs and updated service. The rent is way to high for what you get.
