Linda, thank you taking the time to give your feedback. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. Our maintenance department has been made aware of these issues and is currently scheduled to take a look at the outdoor shower and dryer. Our hospitality department has also been made aware and will be sure to check over all bedding during the next clean. I will make note of your thoughts on the carpet so the owner can be made notified. I apologize these issues arose during your vacation and hope you will consider staying with us at a different property in the future!

Meridith, thank you for your review and feedback from your recent stay at the Hawes property. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the home and truly hope it didn't distract from your vacation too much. We heavily rely on guest feedback to encourage our property owners to make improvements, however as much as we try to nudge and push for updates, it is ultimately up to the property owner to approve and pay for them. Nonetheless, I have made note of all your suggestions and promise to pass them along to the property manager and owner. We are all in agreement that the unit could use a facelift and will be working diligently this off season to make improvements. The unit was just spring cleaned before the Summer season with each item in the kitchen being hand washed as well as a full inventory completed. Things can certainly walk off between renters so I will be sure to swing by on the next turn and add any pots/pans and items that need replacing. The vertical blinds, we understand are not everyone's cup of tea, and they are easy to break when they are not used correctly. This is why we have printed instructions next to each set, however slats do fall time to time. I will see if we can replace them with curtains and blinds instead for more coverage and ease of use. We definitely don't want to lose your business and value your return. Be sure to check our other inventory and work with a reservationist if needed to specifically search out more upgraded houses to find your family the perfect beach rental for next time! We realize that carpet isn’t suitable for every guest as it does wear quickly and stain over time.
