Ready but NOT ready

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Sanibel Moorings many times before. We were so excited they had partially opened back up. But. They really aren’t ready for people. We sloshed through 1 ft of water where the bridges use to be after a rain to get to the beach. No umbrellas and 2 chairs per units. Our unit had a ceiling leak, pretty severe, and we had to pack up and move. The office and pool are all nice and new but things for the guest are just not ready. I really should have received a partial refund or a credit on a future stay because of the ceiling mess.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip. The only reason this isn’t 5 star on all accounts relates to the kitchen. The fridge is very old and does not have an ice maker. The fridge took 2 days to cool our waters and food and we had to keep ice packs in the fridge until it could catch up. Other than that rooms were clean, well kept and we had a fantastic time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can't say enough about our stay here at Sanibel moorings. The property is wonderfully landscaped, very close to the gorgeous beach. If anything, I might suggest a few more umbrellas, but our condo had a couple small ones that we used, which turned out to be a nice treat. All four of us said we would come back again. I believe I had read before renting this was that it was outdated, and that is not the case at all. It was quiet and clean, and wonderful! When I arrived the staff was terrific as well! Thank you

Great Sanibel getaway

The unit we stayed in was great. The unit was well laid out and we were really comfortable during our stay. We stayed in 1 evening due to a tropical storm so we were happy to have the extra space. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and lunch and it had everything we needed including a cork screw. The master bedroom bed was really comfortable and we slept well. Sanibel Moorings was a great location for us. A close to the beach and short drive to restaurants and connected to walk/bike trails.

Excellent property and service was impeccable!

Location and property were outstanding! Process thorough and seamless. Loved that the umbrellas and chairs were included! Units were spacious enough and well kept. Would have liked coffee filters and beach towels included for ease of travel. Cooler in unit was great! Next time we visit, hopefully the kayaks and paddle boards will be available! Thanks for sharing your rental property with us! We were able to reconnect and enjoy our family-priceless! ♥️

Great getaway

The resort was clean, the grounds were beautiful, and the and staff was fantastic. Staff checked in randomly by text message and were quick to answer all of our questions. Everyone enjoyed the pools and beach, and were always able to find a chair to lounge in (and an umbrella 😄). Sanibel is a special island with a small village vibe while offering lots to do, including some delicious meals. Overall, this stay and trip was exactly what our family wanted.

Sanibel retreat

Wow! What a great location! This condo was the perfect home base for our Sanibel retreat and adventures. The property manager was very helpful. Came home refreshed and can't wait to go back.

Sanibel Condo

We had a great time, good location. The condo was perfect for 4 people the sleeper sofa needs to be replaced but was fine for 1 kid to sleep on as a sofa not pulled out. I would stay there again. There is a grilling area, and bikes on property for rent which makes it convenient
