Bathrooms renovated but little things need attention.

This unit was ok not as good as some others that were fully renovated. the bathrooms were totally renovated and are nice. The twin beds were terrible and cheap frankly. Little things like the pillows and no extra blankets made the place less than desirable as some others at the Moorings.

Great Way to Celebrate Our 25th Anniversary

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent the week of our anniversary at Sanibel Moorings. The unit we initially booked became unavailable because the previous tenants were isolating due to covid. Management worked with us to find another suitable unit at the complex. Unit was clean and spacious for our needs. They even had a bottle of sparkling wine sitting on the kitchen counter to help us celebrate, nice touch! The unit came with a well equipped kitchen which we used daily (saved a lot on eating out). The bathrooms were clean and nice with spacious showers. Master bedroom was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Beach access was easy and there were people who would even put up beach umbrellas for people. Overall a great experience.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th trip to Sanibel Moorings. As always property management was helpful and top notch. We stayed in an upstairs unit. The property in general has recovered as expected from the storms, however the upstairs units (at least in two of the buildings our families were in) have not changed and aged poorly. It was obvious the unit has set vacant for many many months. There was a ton of bugs, sugar ants, flying ants and roaches. In addition the microwave was rusted out and after using for aMinute and it not heating we didn’t use again. The guest shower had damage to drain. I believe all the downstairs units are under repair and from what we saw they look very nice. The upstairs units from what we saw need significant cleaning and maintenance. I would verify with current pictures before reserving and would stick with the ground floor.

Very pleasant vacation

We love the gardens and the easy access to the and pool. It was also pleasant to have the weekly pizza truck come by. The staff were very helpful and it felt like a comfortable resort for families and adults.

Really neat property. Very clean and priced affordably. Besides the washer and dryer not being in the room (laundry facility on site) everything else was wonderful. Friendly staff!

Lived up to the listing info

Unit was exactly as expected. I checked in after hours and that was easy and smooth. The property manager was great. The refrigerator door wouldn't close properly and was fixed within 15 minutes of my request. There were umbrellas already set up on the beach and beach chairs for us to use. There was even a place where people left floats, noodles, etc that you could use. I would recommend this unit.

Had such a nice relaxing vacation on Sanibel. I love the island and the shells are phenomenal!
