Peaceful, Sanibel Island, Florida - Sanibel Siesta #302
Sanibel Island - A barrier island just off the southwest coast of Florida by Fort Myers. Due to its East to West Orientation, Sanibel gathers seashells along its beach. It is known worldwide for its shelling. Over 60% of Sanibel Island is a wildlife refuge, giving it is quiet, laid back atmosphere. There are over 26 miles of bike trails and over 17 miles of beautiful beaches. There are also excellent restaurants, golfing, tennis, fishing boating and shopping.

Our upgrated spacious condo is located in Sanibel Siesta, a 67 unit condo complex located on the Gulf of Mexico with a view of the pool and gardens from a private lanai off the master bedroom and living area. This fully equipped condo anticipates all your family needs. Sanibel Siesta offers a private beach, heated outdoor pool as well as tennis courts, shuffleboard and two gas grill barbecue areas. To make your vacation easier, beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys are supplied. Your rental includes a one car garage.
Accomodations include a king-size bed, two twin beds and a sleeper sofa, as well as a full-size kitchen complete with dishwasher, cookware and dinnerware.

Everything about our stay was excellent: what a vacation should be. The staff was friendly, the apartment was clean and comfortable. Marvelous huge swimming pool and very dog friendly. Access to the beach was very easy and many good restaurants were close by. For dog owners there is an excellent veterinary clinic near by. Sanibel Island is very special place; we had a wonderful vacation!

My husband hasn’t been to Sanibel in 30 years- my first time! Great location and has all you need for fun beach days. We also enjoyed the screened lanai in the mornings! Glad to see businesses recovering well. We would stay here again!

Breathtaking!

Everything was wonderful! So slow, relaxing yet so much to do. We just loved the condo, the beach, the area around. We could not have asked for a better vacation! Beach was not packs, seashells were incredible, food was was delicious! I just can't say enough!

Great location!

Fantastic unit, very clean and well prepared. Very short walk to the beach, and the shelling did not disappoint, even saw dolphins near the shore at low tide. So glad to see Sanibel and Captiva recovering from the hurricane. Would definitely return and recommend!

Dream vacation!

We cannot say enough about this place. The location is perfect—on the beach and close to everything. The pool was beautiful and the condo had everything we needed. We weren’t expecting the screened in lanai nor the tiki bar next door—both a bonus! Can’t wait to go again. Telling everyone about it!

Absolutely fabulous

Our condo was so perfect! It was very well appointed, great pool views and literally steps from the beach. There wasn’t one thing we needed. Our next visit on Sanibel will be booked at this condo! The owner was communicative with us and great to talk with. Love this place!!

Wonderful first impressions

This was our first time visiting Sanibel Island. While we had a good time, we need to go again because there is still a lot of rebuilding going on since the hurricane in '22. But we would definitely stay at this exact place again. It was clean, modern and up to date. The host/owner, Dave, was very proactive, making sure we understood how to check in and even providing us with recommendations for local restaurants and more.

Beach Time

We were happy to get back to the Island. Sad to see how many properties are still in bad shape but not yours. Everything was fresh and clean. The office staff was super helpful. We rented towels and bikes. We even did some cooking after going to the Sunday farmers market. The kitchen was well stocked. Thanks for a great stay.

Great location and place!

Our time was wonderful! Dave was super responsive qnd helpful from pre check in to touching base after we checked out to make sure we had a good time. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The power went out from a storm our last wvening and they moved us to a new unit promptly. Even helped with our bags. Definitely planning on coming back next year! Great pool and super close to beach. Perfect for my grandmother to be able to enjoy without having to walk too far. needed

The accommodations were great. Spacious, very clean, overlook the pool on a roomy balcony. Very easy access to beach. Host accessible and very easy to work with plus shared lots of great ideas. I plan to go back!

Clean, convenient, beach supplies a big help!

We enjoyed our stay at Dave's condo. He was very responsive and helpful. There were multiple beach chairs, umbrellas, and a beach cart which were so helpful. Most importantly, the condo was clean. The beach wasn't crowded and we found lots of shells! (*Helpful advice if you're visiting Sanibel: we went in July and after 6pm the biting tiny insects (I believe they're noseeums) are awful. Bring bug spray. We got some at Jerry's on the island that a local islander makes that is natural and helped. I believe it was called Bodyguard. In a brown bottle. Multiple people said they've worsened since th hurricanes in recent years because the conditions are more favorable for breeding. The beach during the day was fine with no bug spray. They don't like the breeze or the sun.)

Great place!

Love the sanibel siesta and have stayed at other units before. This is a great unit, and close to the beach. Owner was great with checking in and making sure everything was going well.
