Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Sanibel Moorings and the first since hurricane Ian. The property looks amazing for all it has been through and was just as well kept and welcoming as our first stay. Although workers were present restoring units on the property they were unobtrusive and not at all disruptive during our stay. We were happy to see a manatee in the canal again and the beach and the shells were just unbelievable. We can't wait to visit again.

Great time on Sanibel Island at Moorings

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Sanibel Moorings. The rental was in great shape, was comfortable, and was a great home for our 5 nights there. The unit provided towels and an initial set of essentials. A few more essentials would be helpful, such as a sponge for dishes, coffee filters, and dishwasher soap for at least every night we were there. However, overall everything was great, clean, and comfortable. Sanibel Moorings has their own beach access. They provide chairs and umbrellas, but they can be taken depending on the time of day you get to the beach. You are able to rent beach towels from the resort for $5 each for the entirety of your stay, which was very helpful. Overall - we would be back and had a great trip.

So nice!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We loved access to the pools and how close we were to the beach. Also beaches weren’t crowded and having access to beach umbrellas and chairs was a huge luxury!

It is very close to the beach and we enjoyed sitting on the canal watching dolphins. We biked everywhere on the island and had a fantastic time. We have already booked for next Spring.

Sanibel Island

It was a wonderful place to stay. It was close to all we needed. The condo was exactly as presented. The closeness to both the dock and beach was wonderful. The beauty of the botanical garden on the trip back and forth to each was enchanting, always noticing a different tree or plant. Also, loved being surrounded by nature.

Peaceful getaway!

Friend and I stayed in a 2 bedroom condo. Very pleased with property and location. Very comfortable rooms and accommodations. Well stocked kitchen, nice outdoor grills. Pools were nice, small but not crowded during our visit. Access to beach and beach chairs and umbrellas was perfect. Recommend getting food off island. Highly recommend the property.

Beautiful Sanibel Moorings

Sanibel Moorings is fantastic and this unit was impeccably and wonderful to stay in. Kitchen was stocked with any utensils needed. Updated and beautiful - we would love to stay at a beautiful place like this everywhere we go!

Just What I Needed

This was my first trip after being stay-at-home since March 2020. I could not have been happier with this rental. It is a great little condo community. Our unit was on the other side of the road from the beach-side, but the walk was minimal. Our beach was beautiful white sand, green water, very low key but everything you need. The unit was lovely, beds were comfortable, bathrooms very nice. We stayed 4 nights and cooked 3 of the nights, which used up every utensil pot and pan they had in the kitchen. It's all workable if not high end. The refrigerator is fantastic though! Sanibel Island is very quaint. We rented bikes one afternoon. We found a good coffee shop, but mostly we were there for 3 days of beach and ocean and this spot of beach did not disappoint!

I though everything was great the only reason for the 4 on cleanliness is due carpet/rugs I felt they were a bit dingy. I would definitely consider coming back.

Nice place , great location on Sanibel

We loved the private beach access. Both pools were clean and quiet, very relaxing. Our condo was nice, extra pillows and blankets would have been better. Sofa was uncomfortable and felt old dirty and saggy. Carpet also felt dirty and worn out. All other furniture was perfect. Needed more dishwasher soap as we cooked and did dishes a lot. Sure do wish I would have payed closer attention to the fact that laundry was communal and cost extra. I like to wash clothes on vacation but didn’t since it was inconvenient and cost extra. The place was already expensive enough. Welcome laundry detergent and chocolate chip cookies would be such a great treat for vacationers and I think the little things like that would bring people back. Staff was nice as far as front desk and beach attendant 😉
