Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was exactly what was described in terms of location, amenities and pictures. The unit was extremely clean and front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The only negative was the ceiling leaked after each rain above the dining room table. One of the rains ruined our books and such sitting on the table and no offers by the front desk to make amends.

Well on the road to its former charm

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to the Moorings for years and commend them for doing a professional job in recovering from the hurricane. The main attraction at the Moorings is its unique beachfront and canal front location set amongst their beautiful gardens (still recovering). The suite was clean and comfortable. The site has two well-maintained heated pools. Our family enjoyed the screened-in lanai for games and meals. Laundry facilities were conveniently located next to the pool and were free. We're glad to be back and have already booked for next year.

Nice place to return to

Reviewer Comments: We always return to the Moorings and enjoy our visits each time.This unit while nice was tired, a couple things like the shower didn’t work there was a broken shelf in the fridge and the top of the coffee maker was broken.The two grills had broken hinges and were so filled with grease one caught fire and had big bellowing smoke and flames.The Moorings continues to be our “ Go to “ place but they need to step up their maintenance.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at numerous locations on Sanibel, having visited every spring for nearly 20 years, and this was our first time at Sanibel Moorings. The pictures of the condo don't do it justice. It is a very comfortable and very clean place. The property and grounds are just beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. Having free us of kayaks to use along the canals was a huge plus. Sanibel is just the best place to visit - we rented bikes as we always do and spent a lot of time going all around the Island. We will be back for sure!

Very nice Getaway!

This was a nice place, close enough to the beach to make it easy, but not so close to make it cost a fortune. We rented bikes one day and that was great. The Island really caters to bike riders, and you have designated bike paths covering the island. We rented kayaks at the nature preserve also, and that was a lot of fun.

Sanibel Moorings

Great place to stay. It was just a short walk to the beach, which was nice. White sand and clear water. There was a canal directly behind the condo that was a nice place to sit in the evening. Overall a very good place.

Beautiful vacation space

Great space to vacation! Beautiful gardens surrounding the property. Serene space to be in on the island. Not too crowded or busy. Close to the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided which was a huge plus! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Sanibel with friends

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The unit was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was very attentive. Very nice beach and some great local restaurants nearby.

Nice place!

We love Sanibel Island. This was a nice condo. Price was a bit high for the age and proximity to the beach. Master bath was quite small. Would have been nice to access Netflix but the TV was not internet capable. No hot tub on the property. Gorgeous landscaping all over the property. Plenty of towels provided. The living room chairs could use a good cleaning. The condo was very clean and tidy though. This is a good place to stay. Overall though we had a wonderful time and the condo met our needs. Thank you.

Just right

It was everything we needed to getaway for the weekend. This visit was during Covid-19 so no maid service and no face to face in terms of checking in. The only thing that I was bummed about was the size of the shower in the master bedroom. I was hoping for a tub to be able to soak in but it's definitely on the smaller side. Other than that, it was very nice. We will be back to Sanibel real soon.

Very nice

We really enjoyed our stay in this very clean two bedroom condo. The location was convenient to the beach and the check in process was smooth. There are many amenities such as pools and bikes, a fitness room and beach chairs. The pizza place just down the block was also a nice option for dinner without the need to get in a car. Would highly recommend this place.
