Welcome to The Cedar House, nestled in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, just minutes away from world-renowned ski resorts!

This is a split-level house with two units (A & B). As our guests (Unit A), you will have sole access to the 3-bedroom, 2-bath upstairs unit, as well as the outdoor space and amenities (patio, gym, fire-pit, hot tub, playhouse, etc.).

Unit B has a separate entry.

Our stay was amazing!

I highly recommend this vrbo rental. We went skiing in Park City and stayed here and it was very convenient. The host was amazing and home itself was fantastic!

The house is nicely done. It looks like it has been updated recently. There are lots of amenities in the backyard. We also appreciated the comfortable beds in all of the bedrooms.

Amazing vacation rental

I cannot say enough great things about both the property and host. The house exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed for our group. The amenities were amazing and made the short term rental feel like home. Our host was great with communication and provided us assistance anytime we needed it. Overall our stay was perfect and I will definitely be staying here again the next time I go to Utah.

The house is in a nice location. You are never more than a few minutes from anywhere in SLC. Nice, clean and the owners were easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

Others live in the basement

Everything was great! The only thing we didn’t realize was that people were living below. They could hear us and we could hear them. It was kind of awkward at times. If you’re looking for an exclusive stay this is not a good place to book.

Ski trip

A great get away. The beds were super comfortable and the hot tub was top tier. It was a great location for us. The only improvements that could be made would be a starter coffee pack in case you are unable to get to the grocery store on your way in. I would recommend this listing to others.

Family Home Getaway

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Manuel’s Home. Pictures do not do the home justice! Home is very clean and very inviting. Response time and Communication with owners was quick. We would definitely recommend renting this beautiful home for a family vacation getaway!

This place was exceptional! Location was 10 minutes from our kids. We were welcomed by the landlord and communication was good. The backyard was a nice hangout place with family playing corn hole, games, hammock, talking, gym & grilling out; never did the camp fire as time got away from us. Accurate description of house. Comfortable beds. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans, various spices. A cheese shredder & a couple more mixing bowls/storage containers would be nice to have but we managed without. Not having to buy toilet paper, shampoo & conditioner, soap, paper towel, dish soap/dishwasher soap & laundry detergent was helpful as it was already provided. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a place in Salt Lake City. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your place!

Great home base

Awesome home base for a trip to SLC. The home was super clean. Host extremely responsive and kind, helping us deal w delayed arrival on account of flight cancellation and understanding when we set off the smoke alarm cooking breakfast. The home was well equipped and comfortable. Great backyard! We visited in winter so the hot tub was our extent of its use but still a luxury at the end of a ski day. As for the area, things like groceries and gas were extremely close. Food wasn’t terribly exciting in Taylorsville but very convenient. Not a problem though as the house was 15-30 from everything- downtown, park and ride up the canyon, airport, bowling, etc. Lots of sidewalks and a long greenway if you’re an early morning runner. Heads up that the frozen drink/ slushy machine pictured isn’t for guest use. Info provided in case you have observant kids traveling w you . Garage has racks for skis and a boot dryer. Highly recommend!
