Not as expected
Pros:The space is overall very cute and tastefully decorated. Most of the house was clean. Location near the pool, gated community-excellent. Neighborhood CLEAN. The welcome starter pack with detergent, dish soap, shampoo, and hand soap-thoughtful touch. 4 bikes available, nice amenity-when the weather cooperates.Cons: Unfortunately, there were some issues that impacted our experience. The front rug and stair carpet appeared to have multiple stains, from a pet with a smell of urine. They kindly offered to send someone to clean. We stayed home during the window, but no one ever showed up. We texted to cancel the cleaning we didn’t want to rearrange our plans around an uncertain schedule. I did follow up suggesting an early morning slot could work better but never received a reply. The TVs were another letdown. The one in the master bedroom never worked, no channels or streaming options despite trying both remotes. The cable system was not working, telling us to reboot. TV’s seemed quite outdated which made the rainy days feel even longer. Only one beach chair, no leftover pantry basics like spices. A small thing but something we’ve come to expect and appreciate. The dryer was problematic as well—it took an extremely long time to dry clothes unless set to “air dry,” which makes us think there might be a clog in the vent or hose. Lastly, while not expected, offering a golf cart or a discount might make the rental more attractive,.
